SO, pretty frequent eater of the Steak and hoagie factory.....normally my dad or I will buy cheesesteaks there every week. Always have the same order ( Chicken cheesesteak, roll toasted with mayo, fried onions and crushed pepper relish cooked with the meat, and American cheese...the other will be the same, except for Wiz) today, I decided to order but wasn't feeling chicken...so I got beef. Go to pick it up, and I notice that the relish is not cooked into the meat. I ask about it and the person behind the counter states that for that to happen we need to tell him...that he "can't read minds". I think about it and give him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe I forgot to state to mix in the relish and the onions. Then he goes off onto a tangent on why I get my rolls toasted. That "you only toast stale rolls, not fresh ones like the ones they serve" . I proceed to tell him that "Well, I like the crunch and that we order this multiple times and it's never been an issue" he responds with "oh its been an issue, I just never said anything about it" and proceeds to tell me off for how I ordered my food. At that point, I wanted to say something, seeing as he wasn't paying for it but decided not too. I asked him his name, paid and left. But from now on, I will take my business elsewhere... So Mike behind the counter at Warminster steak and hoagie factory? If it was always such an issue for you to get paid to make MY food, then you should have said it...I would Have gladly taken my order elsewhere.Until then, unless you are paying for anyone's food, don't tell them how they should get it. Oh, and also, I confirmed with my dad who was there when I ordered.....I DID state that I wanted the relish cooked in. Folks, to actually get good service, try In & Out Express on Street road....maybe like a 5 minute drive from...
Read moreWe used to order here often (weekly) but have found that our last few orders have been missing items and of poor quality. The last two times we opted for delivery and the bags were falling apart & completely saturated in grease, as well as all of the items inside to the point that we were unwrapping sandwiches over the kitchen sink. We have found that when we opt for a specialty fry or tot, there has been less and less toppings each time. We always order a buffalo chicken cheesesteak with ranch instead of blue cheese, and each time is a gamble on how we will actually receive it. The final straw was tonight and the wings we received via delivery. We ordered a Cajun dry rub with extra hot sauce. We also ordered extra blue cheese. There was an additional charge for both the extra sauce option, and another for the extra blue cheese. We received no blue cheese at all (even the blue cheese included with the order was missing) and the wings were COMPLETELY naked with no dry rub or sauce on the side either. I'm not sure how someone completely forgets to dress wings. Clearly the people working here just don't care about the product they're putting out- regardless of all of the upcharges someone has paid. The lack of sauce also made it easy to taste the dirty fryer grease taste that was on the wings. Very disappointed in a once favorite spot. Would no...
Read moreIF I COULD RATE SERVICE WITH NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. I ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Called it in and showed up 30 minutes later and there was no sandwich for me. I pay, and the lady (who I presume is the owner) goes to talk to the kids cooking and I hear them say they put my sandwich in with the order that was picked up before mine, not a big deal mistakes happen. THE WOMEN THEN PROCEEDS TO TELL ME THEY COULD NOT MAKE MY SANDWICH BECAUSE THE ROLLS WERE JUST BAKED AND TOO FRESH TO CUT! A bold faced lie told directly to the customer’s face who supports their business. What’s even better is the guy who had my sandwich called the shop to tell them they had mistakenly put an extra sandwich with theirs. I hear the women say “oh yeah we mistakenly put someone else’s sandwich in with yours”. The food is average but the service is HORRIBLE. If this place is willing to lie about something so trivial as giving your order to someone else by mistake I can never support them. I left there feeling extremely disrespected. Highly suggest the Abington steak and hoagie. Better food and MUCH...
