Iām incredibly disappointed with the level of care and communication at this cancer center. Patientsāwho are already going through an incredibly difficult timeāare being left in the dark and treated with a lack of basic consideration.
Appointments are routinely canceled without notice, even after patients have driven long distances to get there. Imagine taking hours off work or arranging transportation, only to arrive and be told, āOh, your treatment was canceled.ā No phone call. No email. No explanation.
Itās not just with treatmentsāCT scans are scheduled without any education or instruction. Patients show up unaware that they were supposed to pick up contrast ahead of time, and again, the appointments are delayed or canceled. All of this could be avoided with a simple phone call or clear communication during scheduling.
This kind of disorganization is not just inconvenientāitās unacceptable when dealing with peopleās health and lives. Cancer care demands professionalism, empathy, and clear communication. Unfortunately, this center has shown a consistent lack of all three.

I begin with Dr Hendricks she is amazing and has the best bedside manner for a place that truly needs it she gave me such peace about the one thing that I was most terrified about and that was chemo, I went to my training/learning visit and Pamela and April were amazing they took so much time with me and answered all of my questions with compassion and professionalism. Then I encountered Sheri Byrd she is the patient account rep. She called me the day before and explained things and though I was confused then she answered all of my questions , she made the money and insurance make sense and helped me so very much. I called them back on the 8th and still couldnāt get a clear answer to when I would get scheduled. Today is November 16th, I had to call as I were from a physician office to get someone to schedule me and then scheduled me out to the next following week. Iām glad that I wasnāt a Cancer patient if so Iāll be dead waiting on them. I Love the doctor himself and his service but scheduling needs to do better. Updating.
