I went to have a breast reduction consult on October 6, 2017. I spoke with the doctor in detail regarding the procedure. I went to him because he took my insurance which is Aetna. The doctor said that it sometimes takes a while to get your insurance to cover this procedure, so I waited. My own primary doctor is well on board with me getting this reduction because of all my back, shoulders, and neck issues. Well I hadn't heard anything from his office so I decided to call them yesterday October 17, 2017 to see how it was going and what I could do to help get this ball rolling. I was put on hold for about 10 or more minutes for them to come back on the phone and inform me that the doctor takes my insurance but the surgical center does not. I was furious! Not only should that have come up during the "consultation" but if not then, I should've been called within a few days. In fact my husband called our insurance and they told him NOBODY has called them regarding me getting a breast reduction or my primary doctor for that matter. My husband also found out that this doctor OWNS the surgical center!!!! I am disheartened by this whole situation and feel completely disgusted by the lack of communication. So if we're talking "business days", it took a week of my waiting away from a procedure I need done, and I'M the one that had to call them. They didn't even have the common courtesy to call me. They knew the moment I told them my insurance that the surgical center wasn't covering it. SHAME ON ALL OF...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI should have read the reviews first. I went to Dr. Miller because of clogged ears. I should have left when I got there. The office is geared to plastic surgery. I saw Dr. Miller for about 10 minutes all together. Well after doing what he suggested, I had no change. I called the office to see if I should come back. After brining up it seemed like this office is geared more to plastic surgery, I was informed that the doctor only sees 5 patients a day about ENT issues and that's not what they focus on.
I decided to go to another practice that actually focuses on ENT issues. After leaving that office, I had real answers.
I called the office to see if we can work out something with the bill. I was told they cant do anything because I was seen. Well, yeah that why I wanted to see if we could compromise on something since I had go to another doctor and I actually got answers.
The billing specialist felt is was necessary to tell me she still had clogged ears for a month and half. I guess she was trying to prove a point that people have clogged ears? I was also informed they cant do anything because the insurance didn't pay anything but that is what you get when you go to a money hungry plastic surgery office.
I hope that when someone calls, they inform the person, they are more geared to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ended up finding Dr. Miller from Groupon due to the fact that I wanted to start some prevention botox. My first visit was very pleasant, the office is very accommodating and elegant. The girls that work the front desk are very friendly and the wait time is never more than 10 minutes. Dr Miller is understanding and listens to what you are looking for, he is an actual plastic surgeon with experience of the face and how the muscles work. He is not some dentist trying to administer botox or juvaderm to make a quick buck. He administers quickly so you don't experience too much pain. I am extremely satisfied with my results. I ended up going back to him for Juvadern and also fillers for my cheeks to achieve a higher cheek bone appearance. I was highly satisfied with both and he took the time to explain everything like what type of fillers I needed, how long they last, what to expect and he told me not to hesitate and call if I had any questions. I have gone back now three times and every time, I love it more and more. He knows what he's doing and I wouldn't go or trust anyone else...
