China city ll — Restaurant in Warren Township

I've always liked the food from China City 2, and I've never had a bad meal from here. Also, the lady is very nice and friendly. However, since the pandemic began in early-2020, their prices have gone through the roof!!! I understand, same thing could be said for supermarkets, gas, and the supply chain, but this is borderline insane pricing! Maybe their rent went up 75%? Not sure... Whatever the case may be, I used to be able to get a soup, egg roll, and some kind of chicken or beef and broccoli dish, with roast pork fried rice, for around $12. Now it's around $19. I tried this place for the first time and the food was absolutely delicious! I can best describe it as tasting like hibachi-style instead of your typical Chinese takeout. I ordered the Chicken Egg Foo Young Lunch Special with an eggroll and it was so good!

Ordering roast pork fried rice is my safe go-to to test the waters. Hardly no fat and fresh!!
