Edita's Cakes custom cakes and pastries — Local services in Warren

First time here. I was in the area and searched bakeriesLOL. There is a very small area with some sliced torts, a 4&6 pack of assorted cupcakes. I bought a variety. The icing on the cakes and cupcakes is almost like a whipped icing. It is very very light but goes so well with the cakes!! I have never had such moist cake. My mother did wedding cakes and I have to say the cake here is pretty amazing! I tried the lemon which was good, not too strong. Oh my the Hawaiian cake was soo good. Three different layers. Was like eating a piña colada! The almond mocha was my fav, no the Hawaiian…. Both! Almond had light flavoring but perfectly done. The chocolate mouse was good and again lightly chocolate flavored. Would I go back, yes I would. This cake is something you must experience. It is not a heavy cake and yet not a sponge cake. Sponge cake is not my favorite cake and this is such a wonderful combination in texture between a regular heavier baked cake and a moist sponge cake? I can not tell you how moist!!!

It looked like calling ahead for a number of one particular flavor cupcakes would perhaps be best as the cupcakes were already in boxes of mixed flavors? There were probably 7 cake flavors? Staff was pleasant, only one person working decorating a cake and working...

Came in today to order a custom cake. Previously she told us that we can come in and order it at the shop. Today she told us that we had to order it either online, Facebook, make an appointment or by email. Why would I need an appointment if I'm already there to order? Facebook? What if I don't have a Facebook account? How am I going to order through email if I don't even know what kind of cakes they have? Completely stupid idea of ordering, make it easy and let people order in person. Also wanted to buy some crepes, her pregnant daughter told us it will take 20 minutes to make 2 crepes!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Are you making the crepes under a candle?? I hope not. You can make 20 crepes under 10 minutes. Stupid!!!!! You should let people know to pre-order them first. Who has time to wait 20 minutes for 2 crepes??? The pasteries are good, the cakes I can't even say. We have been coming there and spent a lot of money, but now we are not coming anymore. You lost a loyal customer, and hopefully people will see the reviews and won't come to you either. The pregnant daughter is rude, seems like she is bothered when customers come in. Edita is phenomenal!

I began by having the pleasure of trying her gourmet cupcakes and cookies after a walk-in! Her pastries were so mouthwateringly delicious!!! Not only that, Edita was so kind and friendly!

From then, I just knew that I wanted her to bake the cake to celebrate my mother’s milestone birthday! I had a chance to meet with Edita, after setting up an appointment, to discuss my ideas and vision for the cake to go with the theme of the party!

Not only did Edita perfectly execute what I was hoping for, she exceeded it! She was extremely professional, thorough, and keen to understanding my requests. The flavors and texture of the cake were delightful. The cake was incredibly moist, flavorful, fresh and let me not forget to mention—BEAUTIFUL!

I will be back anytime I am craving something...
