I just want to start off by saying that Leasons has always been a family-friendly place and will always be no matter what. Making assumptions about a person just because of how friendly they may seem towards their workers and customers is absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. You should never judge a book by its cover. I have been working at Leasons for about a year now and was there when there were previous owners. And now that we have new owners, Leasons has done nothing but improve to become more of a family-friendly place for everyone to be able to come and bring their family and to get a good meal and ice cream! While experiencing amazing customer service and feeling welcomed. My experience working at Leasons has been nothing but amazing. They have been so loyal towards me and will treat you with so much care and respect while working there. I am so appreciative to have been able to have a job like this as a teenager. This job has taught me so much I can’t even begin to explain, and I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else! They have worked so incredibly hard to make lessons a better place for everybody over the winter, and it just hurts my heart to know that some people could just take the time out of their day to try to bring down such amazing people and their businesses and make disgusting, hurtful assumptions, which, by the way, are not correct in any way at all! My manager has done nothing but treat all of us working there with respect, kindness, and compassion. I don’t know about anyone else, but working in a place where it begins to get stressful and super busy, I wouldn’t want some manager yelling at me or not talking to us at all. Having a good “friendly” relationship with your manager or owner helps you do your job better and be able to Be in a good mindset and mood while at work, and not be miserable with someone that you’re afraid will yell at you or treat you with disrespect because you’re young. Having that kind of respect now while most of us are still teenagers shows us not to settle for anything less while growing up, and as we’re getting more into the workforce, it teaches us not to put up with any amount of disrespect while just trying to do our job and provide for other people. I hope this reaches the right kind of people and shows everyone that you can’t believe every message/ comment you come across, because no matter how much greatness you have in life, you’re always going to...
Read moreThis is as of Spring 2024! NICELY DONE to the new owners! The new, new, new Leason's is so amazing! The purple and black menus are their latest shown on the Google search. Everything I saw coming off the grill looked amazing. I got the house salad with freshly grilled sizzling chicken over the top on a bed of mixed shredded cheese over cold crispy lettuce is amazing! The pink Greek dressing is Yum! Their Glaciers are made with generous amounts of mix ins. We've always liked it here so much. I used to come here with my family mid 70's (way) back in the day when it actually was an original DQ! Now they've updated the decor once more (thank you for keeping that must have juke box!) But even more they have created an atmosphere that is like going to a retro 70's thru present day party and at the same time it's like the drive-in diner hangout in Happy Days! Too bad not more room because people might want to get up and dance! I'm young at heart so I can appreciate that it's a great place for everyone of all ages. I love the walls which are decorated with murals of all time (still) fav cartoon characters. Scooby doo and Shaggy, Fred Flintstone, Popeye and more. Perfect mix of pop and rock music era's is the best ever and played so you can hear it well but not too loud that you can't talk of course. It's a winner all around. They said it's not theor thing but it would be great if they could do the car shows again as the previous owner because that really was a great thing for the community to get together and not to mention it's a nice draw to boost the business also. The place doesn't have to have a car theme to...
Read moreI have been going to listen's for 15 years 20 years maybe, and the food is always been good. And I'm very happy to say the food is still really good. There was a time when one of the newer owners had decided to change some things up and it just didn't go well you know when something's running there for 50 years just leave it alone. Speaking of leaving things alone one of the favorite things my daughter used to love to eat was their turkey pitas and every Thursday they had turkey pita day or whatever special whatever it was that was the one day that we didn't have to go to church lessons basketball kids group etc. So we looked forward to having her Thursday pizzas unfortunately when I went to order food today with my daughter she said they don't have turkey peas just come on Sydney I thought she was just being rushed and not looking but sure enough there's no turkey pitas which was a disappointment. Is everyone who's in the food business knows you know something's not broke don't fix it you know if something's been in the menu for 50 years and you're still running the same type of business leave it alone. I know you ended on some things like the corned beef egg rolls, which are decent but you know that's kind of that time's past that was a fad quite a while ago All the ones in the city are closing down now I see most of them so you're bringing something to the restaurant that's kind of going away maybe not the people out here but...
