BEWARE! They are deceiving and scammy. I will attach all of my proof such as receipts/ emails and their “No Contract” paperwork they falsely advertise. I am so disappointed in this gym. A long story short, I received a phone call 2 days ago from a debt collector saying I owed them $450 for a past due balance I owed to this gym and that they would report the delinquency on my credit report. He even tried discouraging me from contacting the gym directly to rectify the issue. (I’ll attach his information as well). I tried asking why and how I owed this money because my daughter had only been to this gym twice and we paid for the one month she’d gone. I only agreed to let her go there for the one month because she needed something to do before softball season started last June. The lady Madison who signed her up (and the owner Don was there as well) said there wouldn’t be an obligation, it was month to month. The next month I received a phone call saying that my payment couldn’t process. I explained to them that my daughter would no longer be coming and that Madison told us if we don’t pay we don’t have a membership because it’s month to month. I was told the membership was canceled. My mom and several other family members continued to go for a few more months and once again Madison confirmed the membership was cancelled. I spoke with Ally from Gold’s gym yesterday and she confirmed that yes my mother and 4 other family members’ memberships were cancelled but they never cancelled my daughter’s. Also, confirming my daughter had only come there twice the first month. She told me to speak with the owner Don today to get help. Don called me this morning and requested I pay the $75 fee from having the debt collector call me and confirm, and I quote, “the debt collector must have tacked on a damn fee of their own because I’m showing a balance of $248.” I explained the situation again and he said, “I have $18,000 worth of debts from people and I’ve heard every excuse.” I once again tried to explain to him that I am one person and that grouping me isn’t fair and bad for business because it shows I’m just another number to him. I even offered to pay the $40 monthly fee because he said to cancel you have to do it within 30 days so I would’ve had to owe that anyway. I also tried explaining that I shouldn’t be responsible for his employee’s mistake for not cancelling. He rudely said that his employee “has been working here for 2 years and knows how to cancel accounts, it takes 1 second.” And that moving forward he will require customers to email the cancellations for proof but he wasn’t going to “eat everyone’s cost” even though he was going to “write off the balance with his taxes.” Furthermore, this gym is a rip off and I advise you get a real contract and read the fine print carefully because according to Don, “they have no contracts just agreements.” Legal jargon and scammy wording at its best- you sign up- you agree to pay even...

The gym has got everything you need. I’d call it a “medium” size gym for what that’s worth.The equipment is actually a notch better than standard gym equipment. clean&crisp Nautilus machinery with switches, not the standard pins (kinda cool actually). I appreciate the dual arm cable machines. The locker rooms don’t have that stanky gym funk for how busy they can be, so that’s a big plus. Infrared saunas. Music choice is very appropriate. Boxing ring. Heavy bags. The owners are fabulous. 24hrs access. The place is well up kept, especially being a franchise. Although I don’t get a franchise vibe like Planet Fitness. I like the fact that this gym doesn’t have any “gimmicky-ness” to it but also very inviting. You might have to wait to use equipment at times, especially during these, but hey sometimes you have to wait in life....Go...
