Whoever was working 9/12 at 6pm was the rudest cashier I've ever met. I hadn't been to the store in years, so I asked how the bagging situation worked. The woman gestured toward the bags under the counter and told me the price. That's fine. I said thanks and started to grab a couple. She then moved the conveyor belt and began ringing up the person behind me. Abrupt, but maybe it was a mistake. I let it go and waited my turn. I was just putting the last bag in my cart when she asked if my stuff had already been rung up. I was confused until I realized she was being passive aggressive. She had an obvious attitude while I was unloading my cart. Then, she stacked groceries in the top of my cart even though it was obvious I would need to transfer my son from one cart to the other. Her behavior was so obviously rude the woman behind me in line kept giving me baffled looks. I don't know if she was just having a bad day or if she is unpleasant by nature, but I'll stick to Walmart grocery pickup. They at least...
Read moreWe were unfortunate enough to be one of the last couple customers last night, we walked up to checkout and the gentleman that was working at the time told us to put our stuff on the register belt and he would be back. We could already tell he was annoyed with us being the last customers in the store but we were being nothing but nice and respectful and he was just being so aggressive, tossing our groceries in the cart and just scanning them extremely fast and I mean fast. It was obvious he had a problem with us and as a former manager at Hy-vee just seeing the disrespect and lack of care was honestly sad. We were up at the checkout before it was even 8PM. He had to no reason to treat us the way he did. In fact we didn’t even have very much in our cart it was just all so unnecessary. Very unfortunate. This is the first time we went for months and we were extremely excited to come and then that kinda just ruined it. Probably won’t be back...
Read moreEveryone there is always so friendly and courteous except for Lacey, who twice now has been rude. The 1st time she told me it was not allowed to put items in my bag after she rang them through. I didn't have a cart and I carried them all over the store in the bag. The second time she scolded me on my son drinking part of his drink we purchased. If Aldi has special policies they want their customers to know, they should put them on the front door when you walk in. I don't need Lacey telling me how to hold my bag, or when my son can have a drink of his beverage. Obviously we had not planned on stealing it, or we would not have taken it to the register to pay for it. Her tone is way too condescending, which made the delivery of her rules all the more irritating. One bad apple can spoil the whole barrel. If she is the only checker on duty, I will leave without purchasing anything. I would rather pay higher prices than have to deal...
