Kansha Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Warrensburg

I ordered take out over the phone. Person was nice. Food was ready within 15 minutes. The place smelled a little off, no one was there at 5:30 on a Thursday.

Food was terrible. I love sushi and eat it regularly in Springfield. I am in Warrensburg traveling for work so I decided to try it out. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Bento Box and a Philadelphia roll. My fist impression is the sushi was very warm and the salmon smelled very strong. I went ahead and tried it and the taste was extremely spoiled and gross. The rice in the bento box was not cooked fully and tasteless. The spring rolls had almost nothing in them and the spring roll wrapper was very thick and mushy. The fried katsu chicken was good! I only ate 1/2 of my philly roll and the chicken. And that is saying a lot coming from a foodie! I do not recommend and will not be trying it again. Pray for me cause I have a feeling I will definitely be puking in the middle of the night considering the taste and smell of that sushi. Not to mention, it was $27...

BEST, BEST, BEST!!! You can NOT beat this place!! The food is PHENOMENAL!!! The owner greets you and has the most amazing personality!!! Very welcoming!!! They love their customers!!! I don't know how you can actually make rice taste better than anywhere else, but they have done it!! It is delicious!! You just want to sit and savor this food....it just melts in your mouth!!! Freshly cooked and oh so tender and juicy!! This place is an experience you don't want to miss!! Honestly I had got to the point that I really didn't want to eat out anymore because food at other places just filled me...no real taste... and often even made me sick and bloated. BUT NOT Kansha Hibachi Express....I didn't get sick and it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! And I can't say enough about the service and the owner...very humble sweet man and I pray his business is blessed beyond measure!!! Thank you Kansha Hibachi Express for giving Warrensburg a wonderful place to go eat!!! We will be regular...

Oh... my gosh. Where to begin . . . ? My usual was closed, so I was going to settle for something else until I remembered my sister recommended this place to me. I figured I'd give it a go because I was very much craving some steak and veggies. To say I was utterly blown away by the meal would be an extreme understatement. This food far exceeded any prior expectations I had... The flavor is just enough that it's not overbearing but fulfilling. The rice was cooked perfectly, completely through, and the meat had the perfect toughness to satisfy wanting to chew but also soft enough you weren't exhausted trying to chow down on one piece.

I can't recommend everyone try here at LEAST once! It's honestly amazing. I wish I had taken pictures before I went to town, I absolutely will next time and update this because I will...
