I recently dined at Margarita's Restaurant in Warrensburg, Missouri, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with colorful décor that sets the tone for a fun and relaxed meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish.
The menu offers a great variety of traditional Mexican dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients. I started with the queso dip, which was creamy and flavorful, and the complimentary chips and salsa were a perfect accompaniment. For the main course, I had the Carne Asada, which was tender and well-seasoned, served with a side of rice and beans that were equally delicious. My dining companion opted for the Chicken Enchiladas, which were generously stuffed and topped with a rich, savory sauce.
One of the highlights of the meal was, unsurprisingly, the margaritas. The classic lime margarita was refreshing and well-balanced, with just the right amount of tartness and sweetness. They also offer a variety of flavors, and I highly recommend trying a flight to sample a few different options.
Overall, Margarita's Restaurant in Warrensburg is a fantastic spot for a casual meal with friends or family. The combination of excellent food, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere makes it a standout choice in the area. I look forward to returning and trying more items from their...
Read moreFirst and foremost, the staff were super friendly and everyone made sure that we were taken care of while waiting for our to-go order! Nothing against their kindness! We ordered to-go and while we only had a 10 minute drive home, our food was room temperature upon taking a bite to the point that I had to microwave it. I definitely wasn’t expecting piping hot, but this wasn’t even warm. My husband’s order was wrong, (we did not call to try and make a correction because we didn’t want to have to drive back), however, I’m sure they would have corrected the order if we did! Chicken in the chimichanga was not seasoned at all, which was disappointing. The food was just very bland overall. We weren’t expecting super flavorful because let’s face it, this is Missouri BUT we have had better at other restaurants in town and Knob. Cheese dip was also plain. The standout dish were the tamales. Like mentioned above, we had to microwave them because they were room temperature but they were the only things not lacking in flavor completely and were pretty good for here. Although, the ground meat sauce on top through us off, and I personally wished they were just plain- but that is me just nitpicking about that. We wanted to give this place a shot but I don’t see us coming back. Least favorite Mexican restaurant in town,...
Read moreWe were excited to see a new Mexican restaurant in Warrensburg! We saw that the owners of this establishment operate several other restaurants in nearby towns so we took that as a sign that this one would probably be good too! And glad to say that it was! We went on opening night! There was a decent crowd but no wait. There are plenty of tables and nice bright and open space. The wait staff didn't quite seem to have the table sections down yet. Our waiter definitely seemed to forget about us several times and other people ended up coming by to see if we needed anything and to eventually bring us our bill but we will cut them some slack on that since it was the opening night. The food and margaritas were all very good. I really enjoyed the queso. I also enjoyed my burrito Rio grande with beef, beans and rice covered in red and cheese sauce. The others in my group really enjoyed their food Also. This was a fun place and we will definitely be checking...
