We had no idea that the Dublin, Ohio Irish festival is the largest Irish festival in the world! We spent a full day there and wish we had planned for a second day, because there is just too much good food, too many great Irish Bands and dancers, and too many fun activities to take in on one day. There's so much to see and do, from any number of hands-on workshops, Q&A sessions, and demonstrations, to dance competitions and performances ... including more live bands than you can shake a shamrock at! And needless to say, plenty of Irish drink to go around (a few times, I'd say)! Sláinte! If you enjoy the summer festivals, you'd enjoy the Dublin Irish Festival. From kids to adults. They even host a number of Sunday morning religious services, for the churchgoing. You can go all weekend and still find something new each day. And a quick tip: if you plan on going more than one day, it's worth it to buy a weekend pass online...
