Prosiłam o interwencję ale dyżurny w polskiej ambasadzie w Washingtonie długo nie odpowiadał na trudny wypadek I do not know what to expect yet .. Instances of local government in Santa Barbara CA and elsewhere did not protect Polish citizen when they were victimized by crimes and defamation. Instead they CA gov shielded American criminals from criminal prosecution causing long term suffering to Polish individuals and complications. I very much hope polish government can be more efficient with interventions and remedies. Perhaps collaboration with other EU courts could be recommended and their supportive intervention with the most difficult scenario - it looks like court...

Very poor service, the personnel not available, speaking to a living person demands either a certain degree of deviousness ("diplomacy"?) or brutish persistence. HOWEVER, once one gets through that wall, the staff is helpful and provides meaningful information. Had I to rate the staff and their performance, they would get five stars. Regrettably, since I am rating the Legation of the Republic of Poland, it merits one star only: the Poles seem not to have grasped the fact that good service assures good PR, and the latter helps in being "the darling of...
