As a concerned parent, I must express my disappointment with the recent visit to Magic Ground. Our experience was far from enjoyable due to several concerning factors that compromised the safety and cleanliness of the facility.First and foremost, the presence of mice within the playground is unacceptable and poses a serious health risk to the children playing there. Not only is it unsanitary, but it also creates an environment that is not conducive to a fun and carefree play experience. It's alarming that such a fundamental issue like pest control is being neglected.Additionally, the lack of enforcement regarding the "socks at all times" rule is concerning. This rule exists for a reason - to maintain hygiene and prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. However, during our visit, it was evident that many children were running around barefoot, completely disregarding this rule. This negligence on the part of the staff is disappointing and reflects poorly on the overall management of the playground.Furthermore, I was deeply troubled by the staff's lack of attentiveness to children who were hurting others. It is imperative for playground staff to actively monitor the interactions between children and intervene when necessary to prevent any harm or conflicts from escalating. Unfortunately, this was not the case during our visit, and it resulted in several incidents where children were left vulnerable to injury. In conclusion, my experience at Magic Ground was marred by unsanitary conditions, lax enforcement of rules, and inadequate supervision. As a parent, I cannot in good conscience recommend this playground to others until these issues are addressed and resolved. Children's safety and well-being should always be the top priority, and it's disheartening to see these standards...
Read moreWe simply had the best birthday party ever at Magic Ground! 🎉 Absolutely zero stress — the team is just amazing!
I have to admit, I was a bit nervous at first because it was the first time I didn’t have to “get my hands dirty” organizing every little detail. It felt a bit strange at first to just show up to the party as if I were a guest — but honestly, it was incredible!
I only brought three additional items from the Bluey theme (the birthday sign, Bluey tablecloth, and cupcake stand with vegan cupcakes for our dairy-free friends) — but everything was already beautifully set up! Honestly, I would totally do it all over again there! 💙
All our guests had a great time! For a Sunday, it wasn’t too crowded (and we were lucky it wasn’t too cold or rainy either). Mrs. Maria is the sweetest — she even cut the fruit right there, super fresh! She was so kind and helpful. The cake was both gorgeous and delicious! 🍰
We booked the package that included face painting, which was another huge hit — both kids and parents loved it! Everyone appreciated that the paint was gentle on the kids’ skin and easy to remove.
Since we celebrated both of our daughters’ birthdays together, we had children of different ages — and the space worked perfectly with its various play stations for all age groups. We left extremely happy and satisfied with our choice, and I highly recommend Magic Ground for your next party!
Plus, it’s super convenient — there’s parking in the building (just take the elevator straight up to the venue!), and for those coming by public transport, the metro and buses stop right at the door.

Read moreIf you have a young child, I seriously suggest you give Magic Ground a try on your next cold, windy, wet, snowy or allergy laden day. Actually, just try it on any day. Our family participates in one of the membership programs offered, and if you go at least 5 times in a month, the membership will pay for itself. There is an entire jungle-gym-climbing apparatus (slides, ball pit, trampoline, obstacle course, ball guns, etc.), a pretend play section that has play kitchens, a beauty shop, and art center, a wii u section (a room with at least 10 wii u's for children to play with), and a hosting area in the higher tier section of this facility, in which you can purchase food, host parties, or just simply get off the main floor. This seriously has something for most children under 10. And, for those mommies and daddies with a Washington Sports Club membership, there are purchase options that would allow you to leave your little one there while you worked out. I think it's reasonably priced, but realize that's totally subjective.... ~$11 for an hour of parent...
