My best friend and I went to this spot for Sunday brunch. The service and attention was good. However, there were many things unacceptable and unappealing aside from that at this restaurant. The champagne flutes we were issued for the mimosas were dirty and a lipstick print was on my silverware. The server corrected this in which I was appreciative, but still not best start initially. The first red flag for me was the fact you pay first before indulging in the meal. It's like $75 for bottomless brunch and mimosas...they make it clear that mimosas have to be included. I understand payment is expected, it is just still a Pandora's box and a tacky move for a restaurant in my opinion. Our server came out with our food prepared, they basically give you an entire plate with a little bit of everything on their menu (bacon, sausage, potatoes, steak, salmon, macaroni and cheese, and green beans). The food was unveiled as if it was a room service plate at a resort, but in all actuality is was a dry, disgusting, cold, pre-plated disaster of nothingness. There is an omelet and waffle station, these areas are the only hot food you're gonna receive here. The chefs at those stations did a great job with service as well as the omelets and waffles they made. I did inform our server about my dissatisfaction, she was communicative and nice about it...but her only offering was more of the bottomless brunch....she brought back some cupcakes in which she was confident were good (They were, but it didn't satisfy myself in terms of the $75 spent.) This place is more of a lounge atmosphere. The DJ did a great job with the music, the mimosas were worthwhile, the bathrooms were clean, they offer hookah, but the food is 🗑 🚮. THIS BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH WAS MORE SO A ROCK BOTTOM BRUNCH, I'VE NEVER BEEN TO AN ESTABLISHMENT WHO FAILED AT MAKING BREAKFAST SO BADLY. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE IN DC.

My friend Carmen celebrated her B-Day celebration at The Air Lounge in Washington DC this past Saturday afternoon. The place is really fun and the DJ is great and very interactive with the guests. The host/manager was excellent and professional. I did not get her name but she was African American & wore glasses. The servers were spread a little thin upstairs but they did their very best to keep up with the volume of guests on the upper level where we were seated. Our server Selena (sp?) was really really nice and checked on us often to make sure we were good. Mind you there were about twenty of us for her to tend to. The bartender upstairs was sweet and kept a lively smile on her face throughout the organized chaos. Her name was Leslie from what I remembered. The food was pretty good that was served on the first round. It was a single sized platter of steak, Mac and cheese, salmon, sausage, bacon, fried chicken & potatoes. I was not sure if I was able to get another plate or not and was too lazy to go down to the omelette and waffle station downstairs but I was satisfied nonetheless. My friend’s omelettes and waffles looked really good from what I saw. Four of us stuck around a little longer to finish our drinks and left happy overall with a couple of photos that we purchased in frames that their photographer took during our visit. We had a blast and will come back. One great thing about the bottomless brunch payment process is that they take it in the beginning and add the automatic gratuity (total of $72.00) per person which makes things easier for them and the guests. The severs should really get their props handling as many tables as they had while keeping it altogether. Cheers!!!!

Went there to celebrate a birthday. First, you had to climb 2 flights of steps to get to the main floor. Then our seating was on the 2nd floor of the actual restaurant. Mind you, I didn't see any elevators in sight. We wanted to sit at a regular table instead of the high ones they placed us at. The let us change the seat to be more comfortable, but it also meant that 2 of our party had to sit in the walkway. They had people rubbing across their backs as they moved about. Then, we had to go back downstairs to the main level get our eggs and waffles. This was troublesome too because she brought out the food while we were trying to get that part done, the main plate got cold. They were making 3 waffles at a time and 4 omelettes at a time. I did appreciate the fresh fruit for the waffles and warm syrup. There were many options for your eggs too. But all of this was over clouded by the fact your plates are just out in your hands in the open for people to breathe all over your food. Then, you had to manage getting these two plates back up the stairs with no option to use the handrail. Good luck. There should have been a mini station on the 2nd floor so we didn't have to do all of that. The music was ok. Lots of butt shaking music, but the people weren't making sumn shake. The only action I saw and participated in was when the song Jerusalema came on. We danced upstairs. I don't know about the people below. Last thing, there is a photographer on site. The pictures cost $20 per frame, but the frames fell apart before we even left the place. Be careful with them.

If you're looking for a lively brunch spot in DC, Air Restaurant and Lounge is the place to be! I visited recently with some friends, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the music instantly set the vibe—expect a fantastic mix of 90s and 2000s hip hop that’ll keep you nodding your head the whole time. Just a heads-up, though: the music is LOUD, so you might want to brush up on your lip-reading or sign language skills if you plan on having a conversation! lol 😂 The food was on point, with plenty of options to choose from. The waffle and omelette bars were a nice touch—although we were too lazy to get up for omelettes, we couldn’t pass up the fresh waffles. The chicken wings and home fries were definite highlights, and the endless mimosas were just what we needed to keep the brunch party going. Service was fast and friendly, especially considering we had a big group. Everything came out fresh, and they were attentive to anything we needed. One thing that makes Air stand out is how they handle big groups—paying at the start makes everything so much easier, and it eliminates the typical headache of splitting the bill. Trust me, if you're going with a fun crew, this is the perfect spot. Parking-wise, there's a garage close by, but it’s a bit tight, so you might have to park a little farther if someone’s taking up extra space. It’s not too bad, though, especially for DC! Overall, I’d definitely recommend trying Air for brunch. It's perfect for groups who are down for some good food, amazing music, and a true party vibe. And after a fun day at Air, don’t forget about Pull Up DC to keep the good times rolling. It’s the perfect way to relax after brunch with premium cannabis delivered right to you. Can’t...
