We were looking for a custom dining table and bench that would perfectly fit our space, and Nutmeg went above and beyond to ensure every detail was thoughtfully addressed.

Jackie’s proactive communication and patience with all of our questions made the process so easy. The team provided helpful 3D renderings, clear measurements, and even took into account the specific chairs we had ordered to ensure the dimensions and layout worked perfectly. They walked us through every detail, from overhangs to leg placement, ensuring the table would not only look beautiful but function seamlessly with our seating.

The craftsmanship of the final pieces is truly heirloom quality. The 2-inch-thick Lily dining table is stunning, and the natural white oak finish adds such warmth to our home. The delivery process was seamless as well—Peter, their independent carrier, kept us informed and helped set everything up, making sure it arrived safely before the holidays.

I had been searching high and low for a high quality, solid wood dining table. All the usual suspects like Crate and Barrel or Pottery Barn all use fake looking engineered wood and veneer nowadays that looks terrible to me. Even Restoration Hardware uses engineered wood with veneer rather than true solid wood (and charges a pretty penny). I really had my heart set on a solid wood, light oak, long rectangular dining table. Turns out this is not that easy to find! Similar tables at Pompanoosuc Mills would cost $10,000+. I then turned to Etsy and found Nutmeg Table Company. I was a little apprehensive to buy online, but was sold by the great reviews and pictures. Steve even sent me videos of his workshop so I could see some of the tables up close. After much debate, I settled on the 8 foot JAQI in natural oak finish. All I can say is WOW. These pictures don’t do it justice, it’s the most beautiful table I’ve ever seen. Communication with Steve was great from start to finish. It took only 7 weeks from the time of my order for it to be completed and delivered! The white glove delivery team had it set up in 30 minutes. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. It is HEAVY SOLID WOOD. The price for the quality I received is extremely worth it. I’m so excited and will treasure this heirloom quality piece of furniture...

Your workmanship is gorgeous. You absolutely could not have built this table any better. It is so well built.

The beam legs are spectacular and gorgeous. I have never seen beam legs in real life. I keep staring at them. I love how I can see the tree rings of the oak tree in the tops of these beautiful beam legs. I hadn't realized that that would be a possibility. You cut them so perfectly to be square.

I love the table's heft and sturdiness. I love how perfectly flush and even you cut the bottoms of the legs. The table rests sturdily on the floor.

I love your suggestion of setting the apron back a bit rather than building it flush to the edge as I had at first suggested.

I love that fact that, as you promised, it truly is not orange in color at all. The color of the white oak is beautiful. The color is perfect. Looking at this beautiful table lifts my spirits. I love the table's perfectly smooth feel and finish.
