Horrible customer service. I think this girl was working register 2 around 6:30pm on 2/12/24. She told the customer in front of me to tell me to get out of her lane because she was closing it due to the weigh scale not working. I suggested for her to shut off her light and she didn't listen to me. I moved over to lane 1 just for someone in lane 1 to move over to lane 2 and she took care of them. This made me very angry along with other customers because how do you kick someone out of your lane to take another customer right in front of them. Other customers said they have seen this specific person play favorites in the past. Such a shame. I was standing in her lane around 15 min to wait at least another 10 because of her. Very unprofessional and not the right way to do customer service. I don't know her name but I believe she is a manager of some sort. She was wearing bright red lipstick with straight hair. She did not seem to care that she made multiple customers upset with the stunt she pulled. Maybe a retrain on how to properly take care of customers is needed. I was understanding with the issue but when you take a customer despite the issue and even used the scale for that customer, you got caught in a lie. It seems to always be a negative experience lately in this stop and shop. Also shameful survey. Did not co.plete it. How do you falsely say its a survey to hear your customers voices but yet they want to k ow everything about a customers home like...

This place is by far one of the worst run down stop & shops I've been to in a very very long time. There was some guy tweaking out in a corner by the bathrooms, and sketchy ppl outside at night. They should have a security guard at night. I got followed out tonight by a random creepy guy in all black hoodie on etc.. he followed me but I guess either he saw i had my self defense weapons on me, legally, or that I was parked to close to the store that people would see or whatever. I had a vet bad gut feeling once he followed me outside. This was my FIRST & LAST TIME AT THIS STOP & SHOP location, I'd rather goto naugatuck or oxford. No one out there tweaking and following people especially women alone att night. I'm trained in self defense as I have severe PTSD from Domestic abuse and I don't play, I have the pepper spray, the dagger tool, a knife and a legal stun gun. Like if I was any of these young cute females that work here I'd be nervous walking alone. Becareful at this location. Oxford has a very nice cleanly stocked store. So I'll take my business there, still on my way home from work. Sad to see the world coming to this. And if I were the manager I'd get all my employees to carry Narcan just incase there's an overdose in the store, you can...

Stop and shop is 1of my places for deli purchases( other things ) which is not often, I have been experiencing the no glove Change after touching the doors using the slicers etc. all cross contamination, I will never understand why employees would think it’s ok to not change their gloves during transaction of items ordered ( and between touching other things, ppl orders) I’ve also noticed they wipe off machines with the same Gloves they just served the customers with this is a issue a DPH issue and when asked to change their gloves attitudes are in place I have left 2 different stop and shop deli lines due to watching all the no glove changes this needs to be addressed ASAP/ hand washing is just as essential as glove changing therefore I will no longer purchase from the deli until education and...
