I've been shopping at target since 2011 with no issues. All the associates are typically very friendly at this location there is a particular associate that stands out she is always kind always sparking a conversation. She and a few other reps are the only reason I will consider shopping at this particular location. Management is new and should take time to learn veteran and even new customers. Long story short I had a negative experience at guest services I don't return often in this case I had just purchased and realized I purchased the wrong item. That can happen when you are in a rush to get to work and have a small child. I proceeded to return waited in line when it came to be my turn a customer came from near the shoes and immediately started talking to the associte.Now I didnt expect that women to have regard for me as most people these days are callous .I grab my bag and say "I am really sorry but I was here and I am in a rush" So the customer goes into her speech saying she was already helping her and what really lit the torch was the associate who said in a very nasty tone she was already here and motions to all this merch that was on the right of her. There was no need to be rude to me or disregard my time. Everyone has their own schedule to adhere to . I had already been patient and the associate did not even bother to address me to let me know she was going to handle this customer quickly. The situation could have played out a lot better. She could have easily set one quick moment while I answer this lady's question or to the other customer I will help you as soon as I finish helping this guest. This interact makes me look at this location as a Walmart Jr. as they typically have nonexistent customer service. All target management did was apologize. Three managers Kevin,Tara & Kyle. Upon returning the next day to meet up with family.I received a very ingenuine apology from Kyle whom I had already spoken to on the phone and that morning.Another incident occurred the rep was nasty with my mother who was there at the pharmacy. Kyle hadn't even spoke to the rep about the incident that took place the day before so it is no surprise she carried on this behavior no corrective action had been made. Training had been mentioned it was also mentioned she was new on the floor. I heard many excuse but the truth is no amount of training could fix that associates persona her disposition is very rude .She speaks in a condescending way.I will continue to shop elsewhere and occasionally visit my faves in the store however I will not patronize this location on chase ave anymore.I'm truly disappointed as this is a rare occurrence and behavior does not...
   Read moreExtremely disappointed in target, I just bought a tv two weeks ago and it was giving me issues. Spoke to customer service and was told that I could go back to the store and exchange it for another one. Went to the store and was given a hard time, they said I was out of the return window, that they couldnât process the return because I didnât have the box (spent 40 minutes talking with customer service and they reassured me this would not be an issue, all I needed was the receipt and they would be able to help me) and lastly they said they do not exchange TVs. They return and make you rebuy it. This wouldnât be an issue except I used a coupon and paid $40 less that what it is selling for now. I was told that I would still have to pay the difference that there was absolutely nothing they could do. Called customer service while I was in the store, spent almost an hour on the phone with them to tell me that even though they told me I could exchange it, the store had the final say. So basically I was told to either pay the difference or wait till Iâm out of the return policy and figure it out with the manufacture of the tv. This is totally ridiculous considering that I just purchased this item. Moral of the story I will sadly never be buying electronics from target again, I had to jump through hoops of fire just to get told no. For an issue that wasnât even my fault, this is beyond ridiculous that they give you a hard time for an issue I had no control over.
