Woman working til close last night (Thursday 3/2/17) was extremely rude! She offered no assistance and when i politely asked for help, she got irritated and made me feel uncomfortable and that me coming in to shop almost 2 hours before closing was an inconvenience to her. She rushed me. Didn't try up sell or make any effort into making me a returning customer. I've worked in customer service & sales/retail for almost 10 yrs. Including recently working at the Intimate Ideas location in Commerce, so I'm very knowledgeable about the Adult Novelty Industry. Whoever this woman was, receipt says clerk 90, should not be working at a sex shop or with the public in general. Her customer service and customer/business interaction is disturbing and disgusting. If I had been there for a secret shop, she would be unemployed. After leaving with only a few items which i felt rushed to settle on; due to some obsurd 15 minute browsing policy, i finally realized why she was so rude and impatient and rushing me! As i was gettin into my car which was closest to the side door, she was already passing my every step to her van near the front door so she could smoke her cigarette!! I get that you cannot have a smoke break until there's no customers, but to make a customer feel like a nuisance and deter them from wanting to spend any money all because you have an attitude that only nicotine can fix? Very poor customer service and extremely bad experience. I'd rather drive to the Brighton location that's 2 hours from me rather than spend another dollar at the Waterford location which is literally 2 minutes from me and less than a mile (reside off voorheis). Definitely lost this customer and can now finally & clearly see why my former Commerce customers would come in daily complaining about the Waterford...

I agree the lube is EXTREMELY overpriced. I asked the girl that was working and she seemed knowledgeable and gave me a speech about silicon versus water based lube then she talked me into a 23.99 4oz bottle of stuff she said she swore by. It’s not even like lube, the texture of it, feels so watered down it’s almost like using water as lube. Very disappointed. I should’ve went with my gut and got that silk brand in the dark bottle. That stuff is slippery and adds a lot of pleasure for me and my partner. Whatever this garbage is, isn’t even suitable for an exam in a hospital. It’s just terrible. I will be returning and getting my money back. I read another review where the owner commented that lube is so expensive because of Tariffs…..and just want people to know that the owner is not wrong. If you look up the same products on Amazon they’re even more expensive. But for my review I’m simply reviewing the consistency of the product itself and not the business. They’ve been very open, honest and cool ever since I first found them and I will keep going back. They have a wide selection, and being as I work late I appreciate the hours they have. Store has a lot of potential. Well stocked and very large floorspace. Was clean and well organized. Problem lies within the store policies I guess which are absolutely ridiculous. Stopped in late with my wife on her birthday. Still 1.5 hours from closing. My wife was made to leave her purse at the counter. Even though it was literally a little phone purse for holding just a phone and her credit cards and ect. Employee working was super rude, not helpful at all. Told us there was a 15 minute browsing policy which is even more ridiculous and then made jokes saying "oh dont waste time with the outfits you only have 10 minutes left. Lol" Like seriously? I walked in with $500 in cash and was ready to drop a lot of money. But no. My wife felt rushed and uncomfortable and we only spent $100 and left most things on the counter just because it wasn't worth "wasting our time" checking out that many items. $500 would have been a good take for a late Wednesday night but oh well.
