I placed an online order for delivery at 9:25pm that had an estimated delivery time of 10:15pm.
At 10:40pm the pizza had not arrived so I called the store to check on it. The lady on the phone said that they were really busy and short staffed and that my pizza had just come out of the oven and would be on it’s way soon.
At 10:50pm she called me back saying that she would send the pizza for free for my inconvenience and that it would be coming out of the oven in about 20 minutes and they would get it to me as soon as possible.
At 11:55pm I still had not received my pizza so I called again and spoke to a man who apologized and told me he was the only driver. I explained that I needed to go to bed so that I could be up at 6am for work and to please hurry and he said that it just came out of the oven and would be leaving with it shortly.
At around 12:45 I see the driver pull up in front of my apartment so I walked down to the door and opened it because I know the apartment numbers are difficult to see on my building. I stood there in the doorway for a moment waiting for him to get out when he started driving away so I start yelling and waving my arms probably waking up everyone in my building at nearly 1am but he just kept driving and pulled up by another building and parked for a minute. I then thought to myself that he was probably going to call me so I ran up the stairs to get my phone and ran right back down to the door when I see him driving back in my direction so I run out in the pouring rain yelling and waiving my arms to try to get his attention but he just kept driving. I assumed that he would come back so I stood in my doorway with the light on for 20 minutes but he never came back and never called. I tried to call the store but it was closed and nobody answered. I ended up going to bed hungry around 1:30am.
I sent a complaint to the store and the owner contacted me and apologized and said he would email me some credits but he never sent them. I complained to the corporate office and they sent me a $15 gift card, lol what a joke. My average order is around $40-$50. I tried to give them a chance to make this right but they obviously don't care to retain my business. I will never order from them again. I will donate that gift card to the next homeless...
Read more02/01/25 UPDATE: Was going to order a large special pizza but ended up trying someone else as their availability on beverage products is sorely limited to nothing but pop and water. Others have Lemonade, Dole Pink Lemonade (which is really good) and Iced Tea. Not sure why they don't offer more, but my sale went to someone else based on their limited offerings on beverages. Maybe they'll re-think this and provide to the customer more choices. Still love their pizza and was looking forward to it. 1/08/25 Update: Still good people working there, good staff. Pizza was good, I probably should have asked for well done. I do agree with the "Mike" review, pizza taste was just not there, despite having a flavored crust. Not sure, not what I remember but still ok. I wish you could walk in and use your rewards. Apparently you can't, have to use the app. Understand, not an anomaly, but wish you could just show your phone and edit with a rewards number. Again, no big deal. It is a very good store.//////// Wish they had the games on the TV while you waited or ate there. Staff is courteous and really appreciate the one gentlemen cutting up the pizza-looked great by the way. He was communicative, very friendly. As loyal customers for several years, I’m displeased to say that I will never give my service to this restaurant ever again due to the poor customer service . Recently , I’ve had several complaints in regards to the quality of their pizzas - either too much or too little sauce or no flavored crust as per requested. I spoke to their staff who stated that “ I called and complained too much about my pizzas”and they’ve made note of me having issues everytime I call - I never had a problem before about my pizzas and up until recently, I never had to call and complain . Now if any future order is made wrong , I was told I would have to wait to talk directly to their owner ( not their manager ) I don’t ask for free pizza, only that they remake the pizzas that I received wrong so I’m not understanding what’s the problem- if the pizza is made wrong, how am I the bad guy ??
