Spirit Halloween — Local services in Waterford Township

The employees were friendly and helpful the only drawback was the costume that I wanted to buy was not available there. Apparently all the sizes for the particular one I wanted to get were gone. And there was none in the back. I called two or three different places but the nearest one was Madison Heights and Troy and They did not have my outfit there either. If anything I would have extra backup of Halloween costumes there. Also I was hoping to hear some scary music being that is the Halloween weekend. Instead they were playing boring sappy pop music. I will never buy from Spirit Halloween again! I purchased a child XL costume, to find out a hour before going trick or treating that the top was a medium and pants were an XL. Returned back to the store to be told I couldn’t get a refund, even though the wrong size was in the package and they didn’t have the costume available in an XL to be able to exchange. Which, I was also told they technically shouldn’t be doing exchanges. I don’t understand how the store is at fault for the mishap, but yet the customer is penalize. If I could rate zero stars I...

Store was ungodly small and didn't feel like a Halloween store from my childhood. Sad when spirit Halloween is a shell of the past. The floors are dirty and it's very cramped.
