Had a horrible experience with the chubby young woman working at the deli counter tonight. I placed an order at 8:15pm to be picked up between 9-9:30pm. I was there a little early, at 8:40pm, and didnât see my order was ready yet, which no problem Im the early one. There was only one worker wiping down a slicer so I greeted her to follow up with my order and she coldly responds with âweâre done for the dayâ okay fine, I told her I was just picking up an order for roast beef at 9pm, she raises her voice at me and says âFOR WHO?â eyebrow raised, full on attitude ⌠âitâs roast beef for Emilyâ and then without even moving an inch to check anything tells me I didnât place an order and itâs not even possible I placed an order to be picked up at 9pm because they close at 9pm (again now itâs 8:41pm, 19 minutes before said close time) I pull out my phone to show her that the order was put in at 8:15pm and her response is âwe didnât receive an order maâam, Iâm not cutting anything else todayâ fine. I donât say anything because clearly this person is unhelpful and unable to control her temper so I back away from the counter to look at what was pre-sliced and I hear her scoff at me and say âOKAY THENâ as Iâm walking away. Why keep the counter open until 9pm without the the warning of âstaff has permission to belittle you for placing orders 45 minutes before close and refusal to complete themâ? It was pure laziness and unprofessionalism from the staff member. Thereâs no reason to speak to another human the way sheâs spoke to me tonight. I hope management can address not only staff behavior but clarify when the deli is...
Read moreMy father and I came here on fathers day and upon entering up the staircase there was a family that brought 2 dogs to lunch with them and they were not therapy dogs which I cannot believe someone in their right mind would even do. Im not sure what Vyne did with this situation. Ive been here several times in the past and I know it is difficult to find servers at this time. However a good manager should be able to assist when you have inadequate staff. As a fine dining server myself you ofcourse notice everything. My biggest pet peeve is when the server does not remove the bread basket, empty bottle of wine, glasses, etc. Absolutely nothing except maybe the water glasses should be on the table when having espresso, coffee, etc. The place was empty and she had 2 tables, which brings me to the food runner, please someone tell them how to serve food omg they asked who is having what. There was only 2 people. The manager/hostess? by the way should have her hair up nothing grosser than having hair in your food. She walked by several times and should of noticed the mess on my table. It may sound petty to others however it's a beautiful pricey establishment and should require a...
Read moreUPDATE 4/22/2018 As promised. It is getting better, but not quite all the way there yet, at least I am no longer terrified of what the stock rooms look like but still things could be better. I have noticed that the store itself looks better as a whole so that is a plus.
UPDATE 7/3/2017 I was at the store with my wife to pickup a few things and decided to use the restroom while there. It would appear that neither staff or management are aware that there is a restroom or that the store has plenty of cleaning supplies to clean a restroom.
Restroom was gross, it smelled and looked extremely unclean!
If this is the way an area that is rarely visited by customers looks, I can only imaging what the stock rooms and coolers look and smell like. I will update this review if the store steps up and fixes this problem.
Original Review. This store can be great to visit or a total nightmare, I will say that it is always clean and well stocked, but man can it...
