Worst experience of my life. For the first time I did not tip. She hurt me three times. She dug her finger into my leg when she was wrapping a towel on it. I said something. She didn't seem to understand me. She cut me with the trimmer. I shout out a little. The third time is when she was filing the nail that she cut the skin on. They put the hand gloves on before I even got to pick out my colors. I was offer nothing to drink. Yet a lady next to me was offered two different kinds of wines. They showed me colors to pick from and it turned out they didn't even have it, and they were trying to make two colors work to make it. She kept talking and looking everywhere. She was not focusing on what she was doing with me. I had to tell her she was supposed to massage The lotion in. She was barely touching my foot and leg. The water was barely luke warm. The so-called hot stones weren't barely warm. She moved them quickly over like she didn't want to bother using them. She did a half fast job on just about everything. It's like she really didn't want to do it. She left the corners of my nails razor-sharp and didn't bother rounding them until I told her to. I complained to the guy in charge, and he did not care at all. He just said well you got the pedicure. He tried to say she was with him for a long time and was good. I told him I disagree with him. I get these things several times year and there's no way she is a good, experienced technician. He offered no discount or anything for my very unhappy experience. They made me pay $76.50 for the worst experience ever. I will never go back. I woke up to a toe infection. I am going back and demanding a refund. 11/16/24 11/18/2024 - I went back for a refund, and they declined. They actually tried to blame it on me. Initially I dealt with the guy and then he called a lady in from the other room. I remained calm through this whole ordeal, just like the pedicure, except when she hurt me 3 times. The lady said she saw my posts and I believe they were offended and decided to not do anything about what had happened. They said if I went to a doctor, they would pay the medical bill. Go to a doctor on a Friday night? I took care of it myself for 2 days. They said that my pedicure took a long time. It was a spa pedicure. It's supposed to be twice as long as a basic. They tried to say that I took too long to pick my color. I reminded them that another girl put gloves on me before I got to finish picking my color. They handed me the palette after the gloves were on. After I picked a color, they found out that they didn't have it. The 2nd girl then tried to find two colors to match. She offered, I never asked her to do that. She found the initial color quickly, but the 2nd took her longer. Regardless, I was nowhere near getting my nail color done anyway. That is done in the last 5 minutes of a spa pedicure. They treated me poorly. I cannot hurt my shin. I cannot hurt my skin around my nail. I did not cut my skin too deep. I did not give myself an infection. They did, and I am going to report them to health officials. There were plenty of witnesses to my difficulty with this individual, hence why another kept helping her and explaining things to her in her language. I should not need an interpreter. Another should have taken it over, even though...
Read moreMy initial review was raving. This is a great place to get your nails done. However, my most recent trip to this salon was not as pleasurable. I had a pedicure and a Manicure (after an acrylic removal). Normally when I go, I get Jessica (she is wonderful). This time I had someone new (excluding name) and the pedicure was great, however, she seemed a little distracted, due to her kids being at work with her. This i did not mind so much, however, the manicure was lacking. She was unaware that after an acrylic removal she was supposed to give me a manicure. When it was brought to her attention by the owners, she came directly up to me to ask me if I wanted.a manicure (in a passive aggressive manner). I took the manicure, since it is included in the price and I noticed she did not do a thorough job. She also asked a fellow employee in Spanish if a manicure was supposed to be included (to confirm). She did the service, I paid for the service and tipped her for her service. My manicure did not last the day. Jessica and Wendy are really good, and are in high demand, other than that, it's a gamble on how your nails are going to come out. Its challenging going to a salon where the technicians speak your language, but they don't know you speak the language, sometimes you hear things you wish you didn't hear. Now if you don't speak the language, everything seems great, because the customer is "none the wiser". Also, the establishment felt a little bit friendlier when they had an assistant helping out with check- in's, check out's and appointments, instead of the owners themselves doing it. It makes me feel as if I am disturbing someone else's manicure or pedicure in order to be serviced. The establishment has a wonderful set up for children to get mani - pedi's, however, the idea is contrary to the salon itself. My impression of the salon is that it is meant to be a calm, serene, peaceful environment. Children can be talkative and loud. I contemplated taking my daughter there for a mani - pedi, however, as she is autistic and maybe loud sometimes, it may not be the place for her. Which is a shame, because the children's section is...
Read moreI have been a customer for several years now and have been treated with the respect and courtesy I should be. It is a friendly place owned and operated by the owners Wendy and John. I have and continue to bring my Granddaughter there as well and we are both happy with the results. Wendy is a talented and ambitious nail designer and can do the latest designs. You can bring a design with you or just leave the design to her with the colors and occasion. I have been very pleased either way. I left it up to her today and am very pleased with the design and colors she used. My request was only that I continue to have a butterfly on both ring fingers. I often have pedicures and eyebrow waxing, and have been very pleased with all. Her husband John is also a great designer and has done my nails at times with the same outcome. He also keeps himself busy updating and making changes to their store. They also sell merchandise of quality at a good price. From clothes to perfume to jewelry and everything in between. You will always find something to your liking whether for your self or as a gift. Gifts are put into boxes and bags at no additional cost. They are open 6 days a week, during the Covid Pandemic you need to call ahead for an appointment. Prior to and hopefully after the Pandemic you will be able to walk in without an a appointment They have several well trained employees available to help you with your needs. I have NEVER left unhappy, rather elated with the new procedures and designs they perform. I am so happy with the decision I made many years ago to have my nails done there. Pictures of my nails and many others may be found on their Website and Facebook. I look forward to seeing you there for your nail needs, or the many never ending selections of merchandise. A Special Thankyou to Wendy, John and their Staff for the great experience each...
