So I do doordashing I pull into Damon's wine and spirits of waterville went in bought a Celsius was sitting in my car a current " hotspot" "Doordash's terminology" , I'm there about 15 mins. I hear a knock on the passengers window I roll it down it's pouring out mind you.. ... There's two employees she states that it's an employee parking space. I say so "sorry", I'll move. No, you have to leave you can't be doing drugs...... I'm appalled and state "I'm not doing drugs" I see you have a dab pen and a dispensary sealed envelope. "Those are dabs " she says. I have my my med card. She says me too " hence why I knew the stuff in my center console ". Now I'm not saying they are wrong. Or I'm right. I find it funny now I wasn't using my medicinally prescribed marijuana at that moment and driving. I stop at least 5 nights a week weather it's for a few nips to have before bed after dinner or it's to get me and my fiance's Celsius for the following morning. Why did they need two people, what was really being done to harm, deceive or deprive them of their property by stealing. Better yet I have literally watched a customer buy alcohol and start to drink it while walking out the store and getting into their vehicle. I wonder if they assume every vehicle with alcohol in it is being consumed at the mkment it was noticed. Why is it different for me? I stopped at the dispensary before Damon's it's actually located right in front of the parking lot of Damon's. If I have marijuana in the vehicle it means I'm doing it at that very moment. Kind of hypocritical if you asked me coming from cashiers of a liquor store. So why was I treated unfairly as a paying customer? I hope it was worth it because I don't need to stop at all or even ever again and will share my story to all that will listen. It's not a lot but it's close to 15 to 20$ a night 5 nights a week. 52 weeks a year. Not to mention if I can get all that will listen to explore better beverage stores with better employees or teach current ones maners patients and customer...
Read moreSo I was with my disabled friend today he’s in a wheelchair. 3 times seen this car parked in handicap parking on the wrong area so took pictures of it. So went in store on my way out the Manager and another employee followed me out side at 11 am. The Manager was asking my I was taking pictures of her car. I was like if got issue call the cops. She was telling me she starts work 4 Am didn’t see issue with parking in the handicap wrong and the other employee started talking pictures of my handicap friend van. What people don’t understand is if your handicap in wheelchair you can’t get out if people park in middle. If your not handicap don’t park there. Being Manager you would think she wouldn’t park...
Read moreI was unaware this is a full self service for starters. Using an unfamiliar machine that keeps kicking bottles and cans out for various reasons is less than ideal. Especially when there's a man standing there watching you who will count all of the bottles that dont go through the machine you spend 20 minutes at. Additionally there are no gloves that I had seen for customers and no hand sanitizer around for after putting all of your bottles through the machine individually. I will never bring bottles here again. Great beer selection on...
