They sold us a window that doesn’t work properly! They are unwilling to settle this issue to our satisfaction.They are now threatening to put a lien on our house because we won’t pay them $2000 the balance of the $4000 ( insane, but I was under the impression they were the best!) for one window. SOLD US ON AN IMPOSSIIBLE WINDOW The details: We had a picture window that needed replacing. We had renewal come price out that window, plus 4 others. They sold us on a double hung in place of the picture window. I was very surprised but that offering. We didn’t ask for that, it was given to us as an option. They said the sash would be approximately 2/3rds of the way down so the view would not be interrupted in the middle. It’s 4 inches higher than 1/3 of the bottom it looks very close to 1/2. We were also sold on the fact we could open from the top. Well we can, sorta. It’s very difficult for me, plus, there is nothing to pull down on the top so there’s no way to open and close without getting the window dirty. Finally, when we open it from the bottom it falls back down quite a bit! Now, none of these things were explained to us during the sales call. The last person I spoke to from their office said the window is too heavy to stay up. Again, not disclosed at the sales call. Bottom line I had another window company take a look at it and they said the space is simply too big for a double hung! In fact he said the window will eventually sag in the middle! So I will be forced to buy a new window when that happens. I don’t care if they put a lien on our house, we’re never moving out until we go feet first. We had a picture window that needed replacing. This has been the worst company to work with. I would give a lesser rating if I could. We started with an entry door. After the install, we had concerns about the door being installed incorrectly. The install team insisted there was nothing more they could do. This made the storm door we had not fit. We then ordered a storm door. They measured for the new storm door. When they came to install it, it didn't fit. They determined it didn't fit because the original entry door was not installed correctly. We had to wait several weeks for a new storm door to be ordered. The install manager was on site when they finally came to re-install the entry door and install the storm door. We were continuously told that the job was going to be done correctly by the manager. A short few months later, the storm door wouldn't open. We tried to use their online request form to get scheduled service. They called wanting to sell a windows project and had no clue about the service request. I had to call multiple times and leave multiple messages without a call back. I finally got an employee to email the service manager for the service department to call to get scheduled. We had to wait 2 weeks for them to come out. The service guy came out and got the door unstuck, but determined the storm door was "installed in a rush" and "everything that could be done wrong was installed wrong" (the words of the service guy). We now need to wait 2 more weeks to get the door reinstalled again. This would be install #4 for 2 doors. This company shows no remorse for the poor work and are consistent with their weak responses and excuses with no one wanting to take blame or make things right. They have shown no real customer service and have not made any process easy. They have offered no solutions, only more problems at an...

I had Renewal by Andersen fabricate and install 4 large windows for my home. Every step of the process was as easy as possible. From my initial phone call to set up my inhome consultation and first measure, going through all the available options bells and whistles was smooth and communicated well. Next step was the final measure and making sure they had all necessary measurements for the fabrication of my new windows, as well as make sure all info desired back and forth was expressed well and understood. A short period transpired while the windows were fabricated, prior to my personal concierge calling me to tell us the windows were done and ready to schedule for installation. Installation dates were quickly scheduled and with my older home the install took a tad bit longer than expected, but start to finish everything was beautiful! The install Team of Brendan and David were quite prompt and professional in every possible aspect. Walkway carpeting/rugs were layed to limit any dirt and or debris, plastic covering protected nearby couches while interior plastic sheeting covered the windows while being worked on. Everything was expertly vacuumed limiting any possible dust/debri buildup. They happily enduldged in all my questions about the varied steps and process they partook in as they worked. They maintained a safe and sound work space and environment inside and outside of my home, and cleaned up like things never happened pruor to their departure. Everything was easily communicated about operations maintenance and cleaning, and all warranty info. To say this company went above and beyond is an understatement and i will continue my business with them in the future for my additional window replacements in the future.
