This place needs to have better training with helping customers put in orders that want to purchase from the store. My husband and I went to Home Depot to look at refrigerators and Storm doors for our house and they had a good variety of storm doors and refrigerators. We found our refrigerator and storm door. We decided we will get one thing at a time. That same day we decided to buy a refrigerator and placed our order with an employee. The employee didnt do good explaining what things were and didnt know what she was talking about. After putting our order in, she read anything back to us and we told her that's not what we want and to change the order. She then told us she cant and we would have to start over. So that's what we did. We got our refrigerator and like it. After 5 months purchasing our refrigerator we decided to go back and get our storm door and even with the experience we encounter with the refrigerator. We thought well we will give The Home Depot another try of purchasing home stuff from them. We spent 2 hours at home depot purchasing our storm door. The employee had no idea what he was doing. He placed our first order all wrong and had someone else come help. Finally had our order in. I called 3 weeks in from the order to see what's the status on the storm door. The guy told us it was cancelled and no number were listed which was listed. He then found our order and told me the storm door is in production and will be available on October 4th. (He did put a note on the order with two numbers). I waited til October 4th and called again to check the status, the lady told me it was also cancelled. By then I'm frustrated and want to cancel our order. I finally got to talk to the manager and she told me it was cancelled but checked again and sure enough it was still in production and will be ready on October 5th! I was full of anger and frustrated and told her to cancel our order and she told me she will get back to me to see if she can cancel the order. The next morning she left me a message and she said she was not able to cancel the order because it was being delivered that day and will have an employee call me. No calls but received a text message to call for pick up. So I called and the lady told me it was cancelled and I told her the manager said it was delivered and I got a text message to call for pick up. She then said well then you can just come in and pick it up!! I told her I'm not going to waste my time to go to home depot and then realized it's not there.I told her I wanted to talk to the manager. She transferred me but no answer. I hung up and called again. She then told me it's there and ready to be picked up. I WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN WITH MY 2 EXPERIENCED WITH THEM AND WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS...
Read moreOn May 20, 2021, I had a disappointing experience at the Wausau, WI store that left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. As a customer and military veteran, my encounter with one of the associates was troubling; she raised her voice and displayed outright disrespect. My intention was simply to calm her down and ask her to speak respectfully while we worked on making a spare key. The situation escalated when another associate was unable to copy all the keys, resulting in delays. The aggressive behavior from this associate felt completely unnecessary and, at times, seemed to have an undertone of intimidation, which I perceived as racially charged. I stood my ground despite the situation, feeling sympathy for the associate, who appeared to be struggling herself—she was of average height, overweight, and wore large blue-framed glasses, working at the front desk. I couldn't help but wonder if her behavior was a pattern in her interactions with others. When I asked to speak with the manager, I found her to be dismissive and unhelpful. She claimed to be too busy to assist us promptly, which felt unprofessional given the circumstances. As the situation continued to escalate, my wife, who was in the gardening section, heard the commotion and came to intervene, all the other costumers were around watching this associates bad behavior, I wish that one of them could entervineand walk away to cool down but all they did stand and watching her yelling, what an embarrassment's & Despite my attempts to address the situation myself and seek managerial support, I was met with indifference. The manager stated she would look into the issue, but her body language suggested it was not a priority for her. With my background in military intelligence, I can read people well, and it was evident that she did not genuinely care about resolving the situation. This experience left a bitter taste, leading me to decide not to return to this store in the future. Note: Military Veterans, I hope if you read this, don't look to be respected in this place, especially if you counter...
Read moreDo not buy appliances from here. It is impossible to get the information that you need to get your appliances installed from them. They will drop them off and then you have to make a new appointment and then the new guys will come and they will come back and be like well. We don’t have this stuff. It’s not on the paperwork so we can’t do it and then you call them And you ask why this wasn’t on the paperwork. and they don’t give you an answer. It should not take three appointments over a month and a half to get your appliances installed. It’s a washer and a dryer i ordered 2 washers one dryer stacked that was installed the old ones still stacked and pushed of to side even though i specifically asked for them to be unstacked the other washer still not installed tenants had the area cleared the first time the second appointment unfortunately they were unavailable to let them in so only 50% home-depots fault, I had one appliance removal for a refrigerator and it still sits in my garage not removed. I had 2 additional appliances a refrigerator and a dishwasher that was ordered on the same order at the time i was told i cant order appliances for different addresses and have them installed, i should have taken this as a flag and got them form a different place its not home depot people that install them a separate company and as such if anything goes wrong they cant fix anything on site such a...
