first thing you see when you come in is at the front desk is over to your right check in that’s fine. I read a sign right afterwards saying that the hot tub was closed. That’s unfortunate but I go up to my room the room is extremely large. The bed is nice. Which I’m very excited about. All is good until you go to take a shower. There’s mold all over the shower ceiling. I don’t know how someone missed that on their cleaning but we’re gonna move on from that. I’m told by the front desk that there’s sausage and sausage gravy and all this good stuff for breakfast I’m like OK can’t wait well breakfast comes around. There’s lukewarm food very water down eggs and the kitchen staff is extremely rude. I’d asked if there was a microwave I could use for the microwavable food and to proceeded to say no she’s using the microwave to prepare food, I’m like OK I’m not dealing with this and I went to walk away. I didn’t come back into the eatery area. She then proceeds to follow me and tell me that I am rude... all I’m gonna say is if you’re gonna pay $90 for service and hope that would be some good service. Save your money spend $60 and get the same service somewhere else…. OK so I originally gave this hotel two stars.. so I’m going to revise my review a little.. I still have the same initial complaints but I will have to say that when the front desk heard about my experience, they told management management then contacted me later that day asked me what happened reviewed the tapes and actually listen to what happened… they didn’t write it off with another unhappy customer that I will give them a better review. I think management willing to talk to you and review the situation with you and make a solution is a big part of running a company.. so I will give a better.. and thank you for reaching out to me and addressing...
Read morePros:|Great location - lots of food and stores in the area. Right off the highway.|Front desk staff was wonderful, very helpful.|Cons:|We were given a room on the 2nd floor which had a horrible musty/mildew/mold smell. My husband is highly allergic so they moved us to the 3rd floor in a suite. During conversation we learned they have water issues on floors 1 & 2 which cause the mildew smell. This should be addressed as it is highly dangerous for anyone with an allergy. |Oddly, there were no tissues provided in the bathroom and only a teeny tiny shampoo and conditioner. We thought all of the hotels in this chain switched to the dispensers in the shower which are great, but this one didn't so we had to buy some.|Hallway carpets were stained and wallpaper coming down in the lobby.|Breakfast was sparse - definitely take advantage of the surrounding restaurants for your morning meal.||If guaranteed a room without must/mildew, we would stay here again due to the location to family and food, and...
Read moreEasy to get to and in/out of. The staff was friendly, rooms were fairly clean- but the bathrooms needed some additional attention. Mold on the ceiling in the shower area, what appeared to be urine around the toilet, and various hair.
The pool was warm, open 24/7, but the hot tub was broken and we were told they were unsure of when it will be fixed. The staff brought in clean warm towels while we were swimming (which was awesome). There’s a fountain looking thing in the lobby with green algae growing in it, which was entertaining- but should probably be emptied.
Overall- the staff made up for any downfalls. I wish the bathroom had been in better shape- but couldn’t have been more pleased with the workers.
We could take or leave the breakfast, but everything was fresh and perfect temperature and the staff monitored the breakfast area constantly- cleaning and restocking.
The hallways smelled quite strongly of weed, but it’s a hotel under $100. 🤷♀️
We would...
