Annie's Book Stop Wells — Local services in Wells

I was super excited to go check out the local bookstore that had such good reviews while I was on vacation in Wells but unfortunately they required masks and do not provide any for their customers. I did not have any because they are no longer required anywhere so I stopped buying them. If their Google search page or website provided information I would've bought some prior. I did find a post on their fb page after the fact from may stating they went back to masks. But that was it. 😕 oh well. Once a year I get to come here. I list the books, series of books, my favorite authors during the year and do some major shopping here annually since I moved to Virginia! Annie's maintains a huge inventory of books in excellent condition at affordable prices. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and provide a welcoming cozy atmosphere in which to browse. Very organized as well to aid shoppers in finding what they seek and keeping similar type titles in close proximity so you may leave with treasures you didn't know you were...

We visited Annie's Book Stop while we were in Wells for a weekend away, and we always love to go book hunting. The Shop is humble in size, but has a good selection. While the prices are a little high, it's not easy being an independent book retailer in 2017, and I think Annie's deserves 5 stars for being well organized, having super friendly staff, and having a bigger used book selection than my local independent bookstore which is about 10x the size of Annie's.
