Highland Chocolates Downtown — Local services in Wellsboro

The one quart can of maple syrup I purchased from your store is the new heavyweight champion of all maple syrups.

To anyone reading this, I suggest you get your hands on this before enough people find out about it and clear the shelves of this hidden gem. You will thank yourself for doing so. If that is not incentive enough, it costs less than the stuff you get in the grocery store but is infinitely better.

Finally, thank you for being kind to my son, who is very shy around people he doesn't know. We'll be back here the next time we visit Wellsboro and correct the only mistake I made visiting your store...not getting enough syrup and a batch of chocolates...

This is a cute shop right in Main Street in downtown Wellsboro. They had a good selection of barks (including different flavors like Orange Cream, which was delicious, by the way), chocolate covered Oreos, and of course things like chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered graham crackers. There's also a nice selection of gummy candy and handcrafted chocolates.

Also, I was looking at their website earlier and they state that they are a "non-profit chocolate factory and retail store that provides vocational training and employment for adults with disabilities," which is even more reason to come here! Will return during future visits...

Just so you know Highland chocolates downtown is not accessible to wheelchairs however their Factory will be open in a few months and that will be accessible to the disabled Highland chocolates Associates can come out and provide you service outside though the factory should be open soon I can't wait to see what's inside because I used to work there building a whole new building it will be nice keep looking for my other review on Highland...
