Never sell your stuff here. Bad experience Better go to other places. Waste times. Idk if he had no knowledge or not willing to check the details. Or did he just tried to scam people or trying to get as much profit he gets. when it goes to “try to sell to this store” he said my gold wasn’t real gold!!!! I had this from my grandmother who was already passed away view years back. And I didn’t just believe on his statement instead i went to other stores. And this times they did the test and although comes up with two different types of gold on that necklace it self. it is solid gold 12K on the pendant and 18k solid god on the chain. But overall i was Glad i just leave!! And went to different stores in town who can treated their customers professionally with nice manners. Crazy story also .. View months back my Boyfriend was thinking to go to this place for wedding rings the other day glad he never make it there. We won’t come back to this place at all for sure. Not buying or selling. Rude customer service and not professional overall.

The employee did the test in front of my eyes not like you hiding and took it in the back of your office. The other store i went too, he did test all parts of jewelry by putting liquids and as we all know they are 12K and 18K thnks. Be professional and more nice next time. So I been looking for something very special for a while, I had been to all other jewelers here in town and someone recommended that I go to Barnhart Jewelers. I thought in all reality the pawn shop place?! But I’m super open minded and I decided to go, I go there and was greeted by a gentleman who was helping a couple. 15min went by as I looked at what I thought was a great selection of jewelry and fine rings. So far so good! Then an other couple minutes went by and he said “I’m sorry I’ll get someone to help you” I said no worries I’m just looking. Then a nice wonderful lady came to help. I explained what I was looking for and said ok I only have a couple of those but are you set on that? I said no not really let’s open my ideas and see what we come up with. We went around looking at different jewelry and finally we agreed on a special peace! She explained the value, the art, and what I was looking for in my future investment. I did this whole transaction with ease, without pressure, and without knowing her name! Finally after the purchase I came home and realized that I didn’t know her name! Well her name is Nancy Barnhart and she is amazing! Highly recommend this...

Don’t go here. I took my wife’s wedding ring in to be repaired. (He had it for 3 months) He gave us a price, but 1 week in to it, he called and asked us to trade up. He said the ring is old. (We have been married 31 years, so yes it’s old.) after several calls back and forth, we met with him to look at “options” but told him we want the ring fixed, he obviously didn’t want to do it. The first thing he said when we FINALLY picked up our ring today was, and I quote, “ I never want to see this ring again!” He did a horrible job, his lack of enthusiasm with this shows. I will never go in there again, and I HIGHLY recommend that you shop around.
