McGregor Farms honey & Meadery at Pybus market — Attraction in Wenatchee

This is a really neat mead shop with all kinds of bee products available for sale. The mead flite was really interesting because they were fermented out, and force carbonated afterwards. I found the flavor of each one to be very unique in character, and pretty well balanced. As a mead maker, I think each of us has interpreted a little bit of "the old way" and like to put a little bit of our own character into what we make, and I think that's absolutely fantastic. I prefer a still and clear mead with just a touch of sweetness left for mouth feel, and I think without the carbonation you would be so very close. My girlfriend, Nicole, and I, had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the Meadery when we did a tasting at their store front in the Wanatchee Market, last October (2023). We loved their product and they are just really lovely people (having just been married… I think… cant quite recall as it is July 2024 as I write this). Amazing place! The owner is super nice. We rarely drink but ended up buying the lavender one and the blackberry one. Everything is so special!

Most interesting part is that… I didn’t realize I lost my wallet until the owner asked me to show ID for tasting. Thanks for that, I got a chance to hunt my wallet on my way home, and thank god I found it in Leavenworth!!!! This place has the superpower to bring lost things back.
