Hi My Name Is (Queen Icy)Hi My Name Is (Queen Icy)
Wonderful! Winter town eats, although this breakfast or brunch would be enjoyed at any time of the year. There is something truly special about a Christmas breakfast. If you are going to venture out in the snow for a hot meal, this is the place to do it. I apologize for the delay in posting this review. I am not sure why I waited so long, as I had such a positive experience here. The ambiance was lively and filled with families during the holiday season. Although we arrived at a peak time, there was a brief 15-minute wait to be seated due to the high volume of customers. Since space was limited, we were seated in the dayroom. Despite this minor inconvenience, I was able to enter the establishment without any issues, and they had no objections to my service animal. The environment was very welcoming and inviting, and the accessibility was commendable. The parking is located on the side of the building, but it can be challenging to enter and exit the parking lot due to the significant snowbanks. Despite the small size of the restaurant, there was ample seating. The bathroom, however, was quite small. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the authentic local fare. Many of their ingredients are locally sourced, which is always a commendable practice. Will be back in the near future!

I stopped at Wild Huckleberry for breakfast with my family before a long drive. The food was great and the service was even better. The prices are pretty low for the huge portions, too. I would definitely come back. The food was delicious and the "sides" that come with them are huge. I ordered an omelette with biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was nice and soft and there was more than enough gravy for them. My wife got the cinnamon roll French toast. She said that it didn't really seem like a cinnamon roll, but it was good and very flavorful. She wasn't able to finish it, though not for lack of trying. My kids each got bacon or sausage with an egg and a pancake on the side. They were the biggest pancakes I've ever gotten at a restaurant! The building is a converted house, so it's different from your typical restaurant. The architecture and decor are interesting and the seating is separated into multiple rooms, so it feels more cozy (in a good way). We got there right when they opened so we didn't have to wait, but there is a large bookshelf with kids toys in the waiting area. When the waitress brought water for the kids, their straws had little pinwheels attached. They loved them!

We rode through on a Saturday morning on our bikes. The place was busy at 10am, but we got a table no problem. It looked pretty busy behind us though. Atmosphere is great. I had the small order of the veggie eggs Benedict, with hash browns. The veggie Benedict was loaded up with veggies, and was decent, but a little bland. The hashbrowns were good - crispy on the outside, not too greasy. The potatoes on the inside were soft, but I would have liked them a little crispier. Others in my group ordered the bacon and eggs. They are generous with the bacon (4 strips). If you order the pancake as the side, you get a ginormous portion of a single pancake, and it is quite delicious. The fruit bowl was pretty good with a good mix of veggies (honey dew, raspberries, blackberries, grapes). The service was great. Our server kept topping us all our coffees. Food was out quick. Worth checking out.

🚫 Disappointing Experience at The Huckleberry 🚫

The Huckleberry has been our go-to spot for phenomenal breakfast and exceptional customer service. However, I am saddened to share a recent experience that left a bitter taste in our mouths. 😔

It's hard to say whether it was ageism or just an off day for the entire staff, but my daughter and niece were treated poorly during their last visit. From the moment they walked in, they were dismissed and made to feel unwelcome. Their server, who was dressed in super tight leggings and a crop top, seemed more suited for the gym than a restaurant. 🫣🫢🫤

-Upon arrival, they were dismissed and the staff has horrible habits of doing things at the host stand: grabbing coffee, cashing out tickets, mingling, etc. without greeting guests who are waiting. I understand you may not be the host but as a server it would be nice if you simply said -"hello" some acknowledgment not completely ignore the customers.☹️

To make matters worse, after receiving their breakfast entrées, the server showed no interest in checking on them or asking how everything was. I have worked in the food industry for years, & therefore this, leaves a reflection of my daughter's patience and expectations, which were not met. A simple two-minute check would have revealed that one of the entrées was served cold and not up to par. 🫤☹️ but that was never done! ☹️

They had to bring it up at the hostess stand during payment and again were disregarding and treated disrespectfully.

*note! The absence of the usually cheerful and proactive manager, -(with short dark hair) who is always on top of things, 👏🌟✨🤗 was evident that day!!!

I can't help but wonder if my daughter & nieces complaints were dismissed due to their age, which is even more upsetting to me!! 😠😡

I hope this was just an isolated incident and that The Huckleberry can regain its reputation for outstanding breakfast and great customer service. 😃🤗🌟 But for now, I must share this pessimistic experience in the hopes that it serves as a wake-up call for the...

The only times I go on Google to leave reviews is when:

I feel a place is so bad that it’s only right of me to warn people. A place is so exceptionally good that it demands my endorsement. (Only has happened 1-2 times)

If you find yourself in Wenatchee, go to Wild Huckleberry.

The Diverse dinner menu looks pricey at first but the quality and value far outweighs the cost.

Each dinner entree comes with 1. Your meal 2. A quality side salad (no iceberg lettuce) 3. A loaf of homemade bread (amazing) and 2 sides. I had the chicken Marsala and every element of the meal was expertly crafted.

The service was even better. We sat in a separate room from the main area and our waiter set it up to be candlelit and treated us like we were VIP guests the whole night. In fact the whole staff asked us how our time was at one point or another, and did the little things to make it special.

The atmosphere was homey, seasonal (we came in October), but also intimate. The Restaurant itself is built into an only old house right in the middle of Downtown with plenty of free parking on the street and in small lots nearby.

The menu has a good variety of quality steaks, seafood, chicken, and pasta dishes all of which looked amazing promising return trips with the same quality and value as our first. The craziest part is they have only been serving dinner for a year!

The only other time I have felt this good about a Restaurant experience is at a very fancy fine dining establishment in Seattle. Please treat yourself to Wild Huckleberry as...

So i was 8n Wenatchee t9 meet with a new oncologist searched near by restaurants and the reviews were all good so I thought sure I'll give it a try . Let me start buy saying they got 3 stars based off service only they were very kind coffee never went empty and it was very good the food however not so much now I c9me from a southern background so when I ordered biscuits and gravy I didn't expect crunchy biscuits that tasted almost corn meal like and the sausage grracmvy tasted like chicken buyon was added the absolute worst bg I've ever had we also order a pancake it was huge but fla5 and flavorless not even the hot syrup and butter could help it last we shared eggs benni this is where things looked up the holendase sauce was great but the shave ham 8nstead of a thick piece of jame was a let down. So I would recommend for the service and coffee and maybe order a ham and cheese omelet add the holendase but d9nt get the cubed potatoe the were dry and had a time or rosemary and garlic very strong all in all I was sad I really wanted to like this place I was gonna ad the chuckle very compote to my cake to try and h help but at 4 dollars a cake I couldn't keep spending money to be disappointed I would ho back for the coffee and to try the wild berry waffle or maybe a lunch soly because of the service seriously top notch I even order a traditional benn8 thonk8ngbit came with hame but nope it came with bacon and my server switched it for me very...
