Las Coras — Restaurant in Wenatchee

We stopped here on our way back from a snow mountain returning to Leavenworth. The place was empty, but it was a Thursday at around 1ish, there was one server (young lady) who was not friendly nor welcoming. She took quite a while to come back after she sat us that we thought she was prepping/bringing chips & salsa…we were wrong, no chips nor salsa!lol She was very dry. The food was alright, the aguachiles were in the regular side of the menu, but she said they were only made on weekends so we tried the ceviche de camarón. It was okay, could have used some more flavor. The tacos de asada & the mojarra frita were pretty good tho. I don’t recommend the ceviche, nachos nor the quesabirrias. The plato de birria & camarones a la diabla are alright. When we got up to pay, we surprisingly got hit with a 3.5% in CC fees with zero notice. I thought it was crazy they had no sign or the server never mentioned it when we gave her the debit card. When I asked what the fee was for she answered with zero disregard as if we should have known. We had been eating out all around Wenatchee & Leavenworth and no other place hit us with that fee. The adobada and asada tacos were horrible and paid $20 bucks for 2 tacos and a drink, I was so disappointed they don’t tell you in advance there’s a $3.99 charge when paying with card. My experience here was amazing. the food and service was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be coming here more! Can’t find food like this...
