Hello, I everyone is wondering why I'm the only one with a bad review and I will answer that soon. We move a lot because of our jobs so I've been in more than 30 nail salons in the last 3 years. I was very super impressed when a saw that this salon had 5 stars and honestly is the first time that I see a 5 stars salon so I told myself "you have to go, this people are gonna treat you like a queen", so I did. On my first visit a young super nice girl (she doesn't work there anymore) work on my feet and eyebrows, the owner (can't remember his name) did my full set, it was a good experience, he took his time and talk a lot about how they would take care of their customers and if they have 5 stars is because they deserve it. He ask me to leave a review about the salon but I decided to do it after a couple of visits (what everyone should do) so two weeks after I go called to make an appt and this lady answers the phone, I said "hello ma'am, I'm trying to make a appt but I don't remember the name of the person who did them last time, I think it was the owner" she answered "you don't need to call and ask for the owner, you don't call and ask for name, you call and say male who works there" ammmmmmmmm yeah my mind was blown, she was supeeer rude, anyways I made the appt and ask for her name because of course I was gonna let the own know about this employee but for my surprise she was his wife (yup the other owner). I don't know if she got mad because I said that I wanted him to do my nails or what. My appt was around noon, got there and the salon was packed with students (prom season) he told me 15 m so I went out side and when I come back in he was working on another client. I sat down and he removed the color, send me to do my feet, he started another client, I was finished with my feet and waited around 15 minutes, sat down again and it took him less than 15 minutes to do the filling and everything (15 min it's not good), I'm a very patient and caring person so I decided not to tell him in front of everyone that I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with my nails and that I was going to call the next day to get them fixed, so I did. He fixed them and apologize and then charge me for fixing my nails when it was his fault that I needed a fix, I paid for a 100% of service and received 50% and still I gave him $15 tip in the first visit (again my mind was blown) at that moment I thought "why do they have 5 stars? Am I the only one that had a problem? Is it because it's my second visit? Is it because of what I told the wife when I called? So I decided that I'm not going back to them. I LOVE this place!!!! I decided to get my nails done for my birthday and was so excited to have beauty and the beast nails for my theme party! I went to another salon, and the other salon said they couldn’t do the rose design I wanted or the little sun tangled rapunzel design on my cousin. They really couldn’t do any designs they said, and they tried to convince us to get stickers that looked nothing like what we wanted! I quickly looked up nearby salons while I waited for them to finish my cousin’s nails and I messaged a bunch to see if any of them could do the design. This salon - 1st sky nails and spa -immediately responded back and said yes they could! They said I could come on down now! As soon as my cousin got done, we went to them. When we entered they greeted me by name which was so kind and professional! They, also, already had the nail polish colors they would need from my picture out before I got there, and she had already practiced the design I wanted on a fake nail to see how it would look! I love how they were so on it, quick, and prepared before I even got there! She did amazing! She is so talented and put such amazing detail into the design! She showed me her Christmas nail designs she did, and they were amazing, too! I would trust her to be able to do any design! It truly was exactly what I was wanting! They even did the tangled rapunzel sun on my cousin’s nails! They, also, stayed past their closing time to finish my nails and didn’t make me feel rushed or uncomfortable! They were so friendly the entire time and made my two little cousins feel very special. They even made me feel very special on my birthday and were celebrating with me and even sung me happy birthday! They made us feel as though we had been friends for years! The price was great and very reasonable!!! I most definitely will be back anytime I want nice nails! I appreciate how they were willing to try and take us in instead of turning us away or saying no.

To sum it up, they are talented and great at doing fancy designs, they were quick and accommodating, they have good prices , they were very friendly, and overall they were very professional and had their stuff together from quick Facebook messenger responses, having the supplies ready to go before I walked in, the service they gave, and cheerfully staying late to finish up! I HIGHLY recommend ! They definitely got my business from now on! They made a huge impact on my birthday, and my nails...

Basic pedicures, Mike has a wishy washy attitude. He made me feel like this was going to be the perfect new nail place for me, but my third visit changed it all.

He told me because I have acrylic color to change it I would need a new set… the lies, I had two previous techs for years until they moved and they were always able to drill the color off and refill with the new color.

He kept trying to have one of the ladies do my nails after I told him several times I like to stick to one person. I understand they were slow, and as the owner/owners husband he was probably trying to give them a customer but my appt was with MIKE. This threw my whole experience off.

I got my pedicure which was the mint one, because the only way to get a scrub during a pedi is by upgrading. It felt like a regular pedi but the perk was it did come w paraffin. My polish job was not good and I ended up redoing them at home.

They did a cut down of my natural nails-since he already cut them off and I was not going to go somewhere that I had to pay for a full set each time I changed colors. They did a cut, cuticle trim and buff. No water, no polish, no massage per my request. They charged me 20.00 for this. I understand 12.00 or 15.00 but 20.00?!?!? I could see if it was 20.00 with my removal of my acrylics but nope… they charged separate for that.

When I called after I left about everything his wife was rude and defensive. She said if I wanted Mike to do them I should of just said so…. Ummm mam I told him several times. She said they were closed and she couldn’t talk anymore. This was at 645pm and they don’t close until 7.
