Destroyed my nails. First let me say, I don't get my nails done regularly because I don't like chemicals.I came in for manicure and pedicure with gel polish for a trip. Tech put I now believe was acrylic on my nails instead of gel polish. I asked how do I take the polish off, she said I have to come back to take it off. I Came back in 2 weeks to remove. She took out the grinder to take off polish 😱, And it was not coming off. This goes on for over 10 minutes. She replied with regular polish and the owner asked no gel nail last longer...I think not if you have drill it off. Needless to said almost all my nails broke off. This was my first visit to this nail salon. I was very disappointed in my deluxe pedicure. I felt like I completely wasted my money and my feet didn't look or feel any better. My biggest concern was that I didn't see ANY sanitation happening. No cleaning, no liners in the feet bowls, my pumice stone was pulled out of a random drawer full of random stuff, and the metal instruments used on me were not put into an autoclave. Don’t go here. I went to take my acrylics off here, and she didn’t soak them at all. She just peeled them off. Some even bled! I’ve always went to more classy places and they’ve never hurt to get off. She even showed her daughter or coworkers daughter and said “this is what happens with acrylics.” No that’s what happens when you don’t remove them correctly!! It should never hurt that bad.
