Alsham Restaurant Review
Alsham is a hidden gem that offers an authentic Middle Eastern dining experience. The moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately sets the stage for a delightful meal. The décor is tasteful, with traditional touches that add to the overall ambiance, making it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
The menu at Alsham is extensive, featuring a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes. Whether you're in the mood for tender kebabs, flavorful shawarma, or a hearty plate of lamb, there’s something for everyone. The ingredients are fresh, and the spices are well-balanced, delivering rich, authentic flavors in every bite.
One of the standout dishes is the mixed grill platter, which offers a generous selection of perfectly cooked meats, accompanied by fluffy rice and a refreshing salad. The hummus is creamy and smooth, served with warm, fresh pita bread that complements it perfectly. The falafel is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a true delight for any vegetarian diner.
Service at Alsham is top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who are always ready to offer recommendations or accommodate special requests. They make sure your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish.
Pricing is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes. Whether you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or trying it for the first time, Alsham is a must-visit. It’s a place where you can enjoy delicious, authentic food in a cozy, welcoming environment. Read moreCame here because my family and I were in the area and the reviews looked good but we left regretting it. To start, the food is bland and the gyro meat is not made fresh. It came out and was obviously dethawed from frozen. We ordered hummus and it took 35 minutes to come out which is actually insane considering 1. It's hummus, and 2. We were one of only two parties in the restaurant so there's really no reason for it to take so long. The biggest problem though is the service. The girl serving us was a teenager, but was clearly not experienced or cut out for the service industry. We ordered water and it took her forever to bring it out (even after reminding her 3 times), and then even with only 2 parties in the restaurant, she STILL served us the wrong food. (Which also, kinda gross that she put someone else's food down on our table in front of us and then took it and served it to the correct party even AFTER we touched the food/plate already). Also, two of the people in our party ordered sandwiches without tomatoes and they still came with tomatoes on them. Keeping in mind it was just two parties in the restaurant, we were there for an hour and a half and a MAJORITY of that was waiting for drinks, food, a box, etc. Overall, we'll definitely not be back because the service is terrible and the basic food they offer is not remotely worth dealing with the...
Read moreI am very surprised at this place. My girlfriend is Turkish and I was looking for Mediterranean Food in the area so she could have some comfort food. The restaurant it’s small and for what i could see most people order to go here. But there’s plenty of space for a full service restaurant if you would like to have a sit down.
The decoration of the place is very simple and everything inside looks like a local business, nothing fancy. I’d say if they would just give a few more touches specifically on the printed material and on the space itself it would feel so much better and cozier.
The lentil soup was great, and my girlfriend was very happy with the yogurt/cucumber app. We got the meat combo 4, which came with a kafta, 2 chicken skewers and a choice of bee of lamb skewer. Everything was delicious and the price was very reasonable, I wasn’t a big fan of the ripe of rice served, I am latino and eat rice my hole life, but this wasn’t wasn’t bad, just was not my favorite.
We wanted to try all their desserts but unfortunately they only had one available at the time, but it was definitely good. Most places charge premium for desserts even for something simple, but i like the fact they really didn’t and prices were very affordable I would definitely have more than one if they had more options.
Overall was a great experience, the server was polite...
