Good store, but horrible experience tonight.
Today, the internet apparently went down in the store... because apparently that is something that happens to billion dollar companies. They had a dude at the front of the store telling people that they had one register working and that the line was long. Peaking inside, there was a line of at least 50 people. Nope.
Went back to my car and had a big brain moment - place an order for pickup. I needed 2 items: a small bottle of elmer's glue and some modelling clay in order to do a project for my son's class. I placed the order, got the notification and went back in.
I walked to the customer service desk and calmly explained the situation and asked that since it was such a small order if I could walk with one of them to pick up the items and I would be on my way. "Sir, that is not the way it works." Ummmm.... okay. Again, I implored that the cart was small and that I could go find the items myself if it was a problem. "Sir, again, we can't do that. It clearly says there is a 2 hour wait."
Alright 20-something new hire who is standing around watching their retail world implode around them doing nothing to alleviate the line, address the concerns of customers or being able to offer the bare minimum of customer service... I will take my money elsewhere.
Seriously? Ridiculous. Be empowered. Take charge of your job and help where you can or don't show up. I wont be back... I can get everything your store...
Read moreHad the worst experience here this morning 2/09. I placed an order and accidently did pick up instead of drive up. I had my dog with me who gets radiation and chemo treatment at the CVS in Matthews and she wasn't feeling good. The girl that came out for the drive ups couldn't have been more rude! I tried to change it but it wouldn't let me and when I showed her my barcode and asked if she could just bring it out please she acted awful. Told me she was being timed and acted like I was the biggest inconvenience ever! Yes I know you are being timed, I work at another Target store. I also know "GUEST" should be your top priority. I can assure you she did none of the 5. I know if James Head was still the store director I would have certainly addressed the problem with him. Everyone has a bad day as I was today trying to get home with my sick dog and just needed to pick something up quick. I will assure you that I will never shop at this Target location even though I pass it every single week when she goes for her treatment. this person certainly does not need to be a guest service advocate and is not a good...
Read moreToday was the first time ever tThe woman who returned my items claimed that even though my receipts had expired, she said that I would be getting less than what I paid for for my items. I find this completely wrong and absurd. If this is completely true, this needs to be clearly stated in the return policy online and on the back of receipts. Also, just because my receipts are expired, that does not mean Target should STEAL money from me! Yes, you read that correctly. It is complete and udder theft! I had receipts for three of the four items. This brings me to my next horrible experience: if I hadn't put the item numbers in the Target application on my phone to prove that those items were on those receipts, I would have never gotten my money back! She tried to accuse me of not having the items on my receipts! My best friend was with me when we had to show her how to do look items. I did not appreciate the fact that she tried telling me I wouldn't get a full refund back and then tried to tell me the items were not on the receipts. hat I had horrible...
