Brooklyn Pizza turns out some great NY style pizza , plus you have the option of ordering a whole pizza or by the slice of select pizzas . You have a view of the open kitchen where the guys steadily make pizzas . They make ALOT of pizza . They have some pasta that is also delicious, I recently tried fettuccine with their fresh tomato sauce & meatballs , excellent choice . Pasta bowl with a nice portion of pasta , sauced well , then two huge meatballs that were so good . Bread comes with & you need it for mopping the fabulous sauce . They also offer fresh salads , hero's , appetizers such as the fried zucchini which is great & it comes with marinara for dipping . Plus much more on the menu including options for dessert . It is a challenge to decide what to order but it is going to be good no matter what . We have always enjoyed dining here . On our last trip I was a little surprised that we had a server ( not our server ) come to our table twice to ask if we needed something else & really wanted to know why we were still there . There were plenty of open tables in the restaurant but was raining heavily outside & lightning some , we were waiting for it to let up so we could leave & get to our cars & we told her that . But she seemed to have a problem with us & a bit of an attitude . That spoiled the visit for me especially when I am there to enjoy my meal & write a review . We tipped our server well & we are a quiet bunch so I don't understand the problem . Having worked in the restaurant trade I understand it , I would never hold up a table in a busy restaurant if I had finished my meal . Really good food, but online order pickup is a disaster. Situations like the one I am about to describe happened to me more than once at Brooklyn Pizza Parlor. I showed up to pick up my prepaid online order and stood in front of the prepaid online orders sign...for close to 10 minutes while at least a dozen employees were buzzing around. There were two employees working registers. All employees ignored me as if I were not there and I was one of at least four people waiting to pick up our prepaid online orders. I finally asked a woman behind the desk who came over right in front of me and started rummaging through receipts whether anyone was working on online orders. She did not even say hi or make eye contact and her response was "do you see what's going on?" So let me get this straight customers place online orders, show up to the store to pick them up, stand by the sign that states that's where these orders are picked up, and when all employees ignore them for almost 10 minutes and the customers finally speak up they get an attitude for speaking up. This is absolutely abysmal customer service. A guy standing behind me was so fed up with this attitude that he canceled his order and walked out. I will find a different pizza place. I recently ordered a pizza from Brooklyn Pizza in Weddington through Grub Hub delivery. Unfortunately, the experience was a huge disappointment. The dough was hard and super chewy, and the cheese didn't melt properly even after reheating it in the oven. To make matters worse, when I called Brooklyn Pizza to report the issue, they blamed Grub Hub without taking any responsibility or offering a solution.

The customer service was unhelpful and unapologetic, with the manager dismissing my concerns without even attempting to discuss the issue. As a customer, it was frustrating to be passed around without anyone taking ownership of the problem.

I've had cold pizza that tasted better after reheating, but this pizza was a different story. The fact that the dough got even harder after reheating raises serious questions about the quality of the pizza.

Given the poor handling of the issue, I will not be ordering from Brooklyn Pizza again. The lack of customer service and accountability was disappointing, especially since Grub Hub was just the delivery service and not the one preparing the food.
