EDITED REVIEW: I've been coming here for about 4 years. I stand by this is absolutely the best taziki sauce and best stuff grape leaves I have ever had. I'm not impressived at all with the Pastitsio. They use regular macaroni. Not the tube pasta. I'm pretty certain the chicken is Perdue shortcuts. Usually dry and it breaks or crumbles when I put my fork in it. I still find this location to be very clean. But for the life of me I don't understand why in the middle of the dining area ...they have a storage center of items that belong in a stock room??? It's not a host station because this is counter service. They literally use a table that has 2 chairs for it, and keep it stocked with all of their paper goods for 4 years now. Who knows how much longer its been. I can tend to go to the Waxhaw location because their dining area is just more cozier and strictly dining without the back stock room experience.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you have a hankering for Greek food.... Head over here. Fresh and Delicious!! Good portions. Fantastic...
Read moreI placed a take out order tonight of 2 lamb gyros, 1 order of falafel, a small order of hummus and pita bread, 1 large plain fries and 1 small lemon oregano fries, and 2 pieces of baklava. I was told 15 minutes so I made sure to arrive on time. Let me add this order was NOT cheap, $44 and change. Let’s just say that the only thing hot was the lamb in the gyros. The fries were cold and hard. How do fries get so hard you can’t bite them? It’s like they were cooked earlier and warmed in an oven until they were dried out. The hummus really had no flavor. I was surprised because the last time I had their plan hummus it had a great flavor but not tonight. And to top it off?!? The baklava was nowhere to be seen! I had to get back in my car and drive back to the restaurant to pick up my dessert that was left out of my to go order. I’m just so disappointed. What a waste of money...
Read moreMy go-to! I work in the area, and pretty much any time my co-workers and I are debating lunch options, Greco leads the discussion. I've eaten there, I dunno, maybe twenty times - and the quality has never faltered in the slightest. These folks are on-point. Great, authentic lamb gyro meat, tasty crispy fries (with seasoning options - try spicy!) And awesome pita bread. They have a big menu - but honestly, I've never had anything but the good old fashioned Gyro. They have a tasty looking salad, and some kind of crazy fried hush-puppy-looking honey balls that I keep seeing. They never skimp on proportions, either. I lift rocks all day for a living, so when I go out for lunch - I EAT! I have never left this place hungry. Sometimes I can't finish, and I'll save leftovers for a snack later. Quit reading reviews, and go try it. Keep these guys...
