We lived here for a year and a half and overall had a good experience. My only disappointment was when we moved out. A few weeks after we moved out I noticed we forgot to take my clock that was hanging on the wall. I had taken pictures the day we moved out (to verify we left the space in clean condition) and you can see the clock in the pictures. When I told the staff that I had forgotten my clock and I would like to stop by and pick it up they said they didn't find a clock when they cleaned the apartment (for the next tenant) and that anything left in the apartment after move out is considered unwanted property. If left in good condition, they keep it or donate it. I was and still am completely shocked by this response considering the amount of rent we paid ($1500/month) and we were great tenants. For a luxury living extablishment I sure don't think stealing people's items that they accidentally forgot is how tenants should be treated. It would have taken 2 mins to call and say "hey when we were cleaning we noticed the clock on the wall. Did you mean to leave it behind or would you like it back?" Call me old fashioned but that's morally right thing to do. I do take responsibility that it is our fault that we forgot the item but it doesn't make it okay to keep it. I'm not saying its a bad place to live but beware when you move out. Don't forget anything or you won't...
Read moreWe have lived in these apartments for years and have done nothing but scream praise about how much we LOVED where we lived. Recently without much warning to residents we were boughten out by National LLC who’s current reviews are barley about a 1 star with over 70 reviews and we were quick to find out why. The old staff were wonderful and very easy to contact. If you email the new staff you get an email back saying you can not email her, she can email you but you can not contact them that way. If you call the phone number it simply says it can’t connect you to a person and hangs up. And you can’t see them in the office because they are never there. The old staff we could contact through any of these options and always had quick responses. I’ve had no issue with paying rent until National LLC and trying to contact them about this issue was impossible. When I finally revived a phone call from them they were of no help. They have completely destroyed the since of community we had in our building and have made us think twice about renewing our lease. And if you have the misfortune of having to communicate with, Lisa Shields, which is very hard because you can not even email her about important issues you will be left...
Read moreLived at the Cast Iron Apartments in the Phase 2 building for 18 months starting in 2019. The building was nice and I really liked the layout of the apartments but we had major maintenance issues that were never fixed while we lived there. Every time it rained moderately heavy a puddle of water would form in the middle of the living room. We were told that they would not be able to fix the issue while we were living there and were only offered a one time discount on our rent. I can’t even tell you how many paper towels and regular towels we went through. It’s a shame they didn’t offer any other solution like allowing us to move to another room or break our lease. The water issues led to water damage in the floor and the walls. We live in a different apartment complex now and I still anxiously check the floors every time it rains. For how much they charge for rent it’s a real shame the building itself seems to have some kind of structural issues.
Still gave 2 stars because we really did like the place but our experience with the water issues in our room paired with how expensive rent was made us have to move. I hope they actually fixed it before the next...
