This place has a lot of potential but my first experience was not a pleasant one. I had reserved time for 8 of us, and when we arrived we were the only people there.
Their website asks you to fill out a waiver before getting there, but they have waivers there. The website also recommends downloading the accompanying app, but the location never says it's available and if you register prior to visiting they aren't able to pull up your information.
So as we're about to start our first game (again, a group of 25-32 year olds) and a family with two young boys walk in. Since there is room for them in the timeslot they're added to our group but wait until our second game.
The first game was a lot of fun! We learned a little how the guns work and the layout of the room. The scenery is excellent and everything from the guns to how you respawn to the scenery was awesome.
Then we played our second game. This is when the family joined us. The game was split 6v6, with the family on one side. A few complaints here: 1. The family were a bunch of regulars, and as the game was starting set themselves up to kill us before we were even ready to play. 2. The children would occasionally slide their headband (which is a primary target) from their heads to their necks. This is problematic first because they are already much smaller than the rest of us and second because they were able to practically hide their targets and annihilate is. 3. This laser tag rewards you for being returning players by starting you out with more powerful weapons and now defences. This was incredibly unbalanced with a room full of new players.
After this game, things got much worse because the gentleman running the game decided to join in. Being an employee, he was very high ranked. And instead of facilitating fun for everyone involved, he was more focused on improving his statistics and ranking. When he played (which he really shouldn't have in the first place) he took things way too seriously. At one point I was stuck in the team spawn room with 5 other people constantly dying. This is not the way to run a game and hope people come back.
So my recommendation, especially for new players, is to try and book a private event or have enough friends go with you that you fill the time slot. And never EVER let the employees play with you unless you like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you are looking for a cheap place to host a birthday party or just want to have funāStryke Force Laser Tag is the place for you. Everytime I went there I had max enjoyment while exploring the laser tag arena and going there for birthday parties. Iāve gone to Stryke Force 2 times, and their variety of activities is outstanding. Each time I went, I was playing Laser Tag, and that has 3 modes to play providing variety. They also have escape rooms to provide thrills to other customers. Also their equipment for these activities are simply outstanding. As I just mentioned, another reason why Stryke Force is a great place is their high tech gadgets. Their high tech gadgets arenāt hard to use for beginners. The staff also explains how to use the equipmentāwhich is another reason why you should go to Stryke Force. Going back to the topic of high tech equipment, you feel special when they give you those gadgets. As I said before, Stryke Force is a fun place to host a birthday party. When you go there to a birthday party you can still do all the activities and spend 45 minutes in their birthday room to cut cake, eat pizza and more. Iāve gone to two birthday parties there, and I have loved every second of it. Overall, Stryke Force Laser Tag is an amazing place to go to because you can host a birthday party there, they have a variety of things to do, and they also have high tech gadgets that are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSecond year in a row we held our eldest son's birthday party at Stryke Force. I am (so) impressed with the customer experience through the whole operation.
Very organized, polite and helpful staff. I got the feeling that everyone really liked working there. The place was clean and nicely decorated (they do Escape Rooms too). Their staff even recommended a Pizza place that delivers, and the pizza was fantastic!
The Laser Tag experience is top notch. Noah, our operator was super patient with the young kids. He instructed them clearly and kindly. Noah even challenged all the kids against him... Big smiles on everyone. The arena is really well done. Two floors with loads of positions to take/defend. The first floor is visible from the second so sniping options were everywhere. Music was perfect for mayhem in the near dark. I obviously couldn't resist and played myself to exhaustion.
Well worth the money compared to other similar birthday options in my opinion.
We all had a great time and will definitely come back...
