I've been a member here since the gym opened, and I cannot say enough good things about the new owners. Over the last few months, some changes have been made -- more open gym hours, HIIT classes added, and coaches who are invested in our community.
If you're hesitant to try/commit to crossfit, no problem. Take one of the HIIT classes (high intensity interval training). They'll leave you on the floor...at times (okay, a lot) more so than the crossfit classes. The facility is the cleanest I've seen, the community is solid, and the coaching and programming have definitely improved by leaps and bounds compared to this time last year. I’ve been doing the conditioning classes with amazing coaches who are super helpful, accommodating, and hyped energy. Everyone I’ve met in class has been so fun and the community created at CS is really welcoming. I was super intimidated by CrossFit and the conditioning classes have shown me that it’s a sport for every stage of physical strength. Tom has been super helpful and has created an awesome space of equipment and class schedule. Miken did my Elements class recently and she ran me through every CrossFit maneuver, so I start with great form and a foundation. Read moreWhen CrossFit Logan started their fitness classes, I was bouncing around from different classes like "ilovekickboxing" and "Orange Theory". I found CFL to be far more welcoming and not your basic franchise that's just out to get your money. The coaches (Teresa, Tom, Sammy, and LeRoy) are super knowledgeable and put in great effort to always have a new workout every time. Classes are always fun and definitely a great workout.
