Taqueria Los Comales Logan Square — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I’ve been going here for about a year. They have a serious problem with their online ordering. Every time I order a carne asada burrito through their online option, I request it with no tomato and no lettuce. Every time I order it, it has lettuce and tomato. The burrito is good so I just learned to call and order rather than do it online. I was sick today and decided to order a chorizo and egg burrito and decided to use the online option because I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want to call. They gave me an only chorizo burrito. No egg just chorizo. It was nasty. I called to complain thinking they would apologize and offer me my burrito seeing as I have the online receipt as proof. They told me no, that I needed to pay for the second burrito if I wanted it and/or complain to their vendor they use for the online ordering. I’m honestly in shock at how bad that customer service is. I have proof you all made a mistake. They admit the made a chorizo burrito not chorizo and egg. Why would I fight with your online vendor? If your online vendor is sending in the wrong orders that’s for you business to fix, not me. I’m really sad because I go early loved them but now they’ve lost a customer who used to go twice a week. Elizabeth is in charge of their catering department ,she was wonderfully attentive . Elizabeth called back ,emailed ,and text instantly right away. Elizabeth sent out estimates very quickly . She was very professional when I needed help ordering the entrées, she also offered different ways to prepare the food. We had a celebration of life for my father/memorial and we needed Los Comales Logan Square to cater for us for approx 50 people. We ordered the taco bar we had beef ,chicken and vegetarian zucchini style tacos,cheese quesadillas,chile rellenos , enchiladas steak & chicken red and green ones ,rice and beans . They also supplied horchata half gallons . I had lots of family & friends and guests telling us how delicious the food was and asking who did the catering .They delivered on time and were very cautious and helped our church set up with extras of everything. Very reasonable price for delivery and they didn’t automatically force a gratuity on the estimate. I recommend them ,and will keep thier number as a contact for future catering.
