Ok so first off, this has been my go-to place for Carnitas (sort of a pork confit where large pork pieces are slow fried in pork lard). I have tried the typical 18th Street venues but continue to find my way back to this place for carnitas on Saturday morning. The price is fair and the flavor is on point. Other Saturday morning options are offered as well such as Barbacoa and Menudo. Stop by and support your local corner grocery store with friendly local staff and fair prices.
