Yes, they pour heavy drinks. But nothing is free. If you are not a local, you need to watch out because we believe our drinks may have been spiked or the liquor that they used was different than what we requested. We had a big group that called in advance and we were not from the “neighborhood”. The atmosphere was cool but 2 people in our group experienced a really bad reaction (vomiting for a full day and the other passed out) both after 1 drink. That...

I love Po Fred's. Small atmosphere (while in the wall type of place) great drinkers excellent service, great music from oldies dusties blues r&b house music and more they even have karaoke and food on certain nights. Anytime I am on the west side of Chicago I have to check in at Po Fred's always good vibes. FYI I bet you can't drink more than two of their...
