Having trained in martial arts for over the past 20+ years across the country and internationally and also, training amateur and professional fighters at the highest levels, I can say without a doubt The Bridge has the absolute BEST kids jiu jitsu program in Chicago. (There’s a reason they have amassed dozens and dozens of medals and awards).
If I have to put a single word on the gym as a whole, it’s passion. All of the instructors do this for the pure love of teaching bjj and the joy of seeing a kid come off the street without confidences and seeing that kid flourish not only in jiu jitsu but also in life just a few months later.
Watching Riche teach the kids bjj classes was absolutely incredible to see. His ability to keep the kids on track while also still keeping it fun for them is an art in itself.

Since joining the bridge 5 months ago his takedowns, timing and intensity have all improved. He won double gold in his last gi/no gi tournament by submitting every opponent.
