This place is just ok. Weird at times as well. they have a pitcher of margaritas that is premade and made with carbonated soda or water, $45. It is their way of making a regular margarita but with a twist, it is on tap so I highly recommend not ordering this. I ordered a regular margarita and it was pretty weak. Chips and salsa were meh, the chips either heavily salted or lightly salted or no salt at all, no real consistency. At one point they were so salty we just stopped eating them, their at codes don’t work so just use the website through google, not sure if it was just my iphone but my friends with droids were able to use it. Salsa has a Smoky flavor and has big chunks of onions, it’s interesting. I had the chicken thigh taco, it was actually Pretty good, I also ordered the fish tacos which were supposed to be tempura fried, I had 3 total only 1 taste good the others felt like they were flash fried and soggy or refried, I also had a side of fries and black beans, fries like the chips came out super salty, the black beans were a joke probably about 2.5-3 oz of beans for an order of serving, not sure how much they cost because they weren’t on the menu. Server was nice and attentive, believe her name was Ashley. They also have a speak easy that it very small and intimate with a bar tender and velvet everywhere, with light music, this portion you need reservations for or at least it is highly recommended. Friday’s they have a dj, this night they had a woman dj spinning vinyl which was epic. Place is very big, long hallways for the bathroom and several different areas for gatherings and seating of big parties. Low lights and very intimate. If you want to go here or any place on 18th st please make sure you utilize a rideshare service, get there early or utilize their valet service because is an absolute disaster. We spent almost an hour looking...

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a beautiful open bar that sets the tone for the entire evening. The space is colorful, bright, and energetic, with a lively soundtrack of music that makes you want to dance in your seat.
The menu at Pilsen Yards is inspired by Latin street food, and it's clear that a lot of thought and care was put into crafting each dish. From tacos to ceviches, hummus to carne asada, there's something for everyone on the menu. The dishes are beautifully presented, with bright colors and fresh ingredients that make your mouth water just looking at them.
I had the chicken enchiladas and a variety of different tacos. They were both absolutely delicious. The enchiladas were packed with tender chicken and topped with a rich, flavorful mole sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The tacos were also a standout dish, with perfectly seasoned meat, fish and fresh toppings that added a bright burst of flavor with every bite.
One thing that really stood out to me was the attention to detail that was evident in every aspect of the experience. From the beautiful decor to the carefully crafted cocktails, everything was designed to create a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions.
Overall, I would highly recommend Pilsen Yards to anyone looking for a fun and flavorful dining experience in Pilsen. Whether you're in the mood for a casual meal with friends or a date night, this restaurant has something to offer everyone. The beautiful open bar, lively music, and delicious food make for a truly unforgettable evening, and I can't wait to go back and try more dishes...
Read moreI’ve been to PilsenYards since it opened. My group and I have gone many times and have given them a lot of business. But today has convinced me to not return. This was the first time I’ve been asked to leave after sitting at a table for 2.5 hours. We were originally a table of four but two left. When those two left the waiter, Pat C, did not return to ask if we would like more drinks. But Pat did return to let us know that we had 20 minutes left on our reservation after being absent for the last hour. I’ll be honest, we did not drink much yet BUT the bar was empty. We told him that we have more people coming but he reminded us again by shoving the time in our face saying that we have 20 minutes left. So we packed up and decided to leave. As we were attempting to leave, the owner blocked us from exiting the restaurant because he was afraid that we were planning to leave a negative review. He kept trying to reason with us and would not let us leave. The plan was just to leave but we kept being attacked by this bar owner. Now here’s the negative review that I didn’t plan on writing until I was accosted by the owner and was barred from leaving the restaurant. And final note as I was leaving he yelled back that we were not welcomed in the establishment anymore. We have spent much over the years including at the Alderman! We are a tight group of 15 and more. None of us will...
