My fiancé and I are extremely disappointed with our experience with the Jordan Creek Halberstadt's location. Furious even, and we're both slow to anger. My fiancé and the groomsmen were told their suits would arrive in about 3 weeks after working with Seth on July 13th. After not hearing from Halberstadt's, we called about 4 weeks later and learned they apparently never officially placed the order of the four suits. They said to wait another week and they'd be in. So, we trusted and gave them a second chance. Two weeks later after not hearing from them again, we followed up. The suits had arrived. When my fiancé went to get measured, he expressed frustration and worked with the manager, David. David said he'd take care of him. He also learned during that visit that the vests had not arrived, but that they would be in when tailoring was done. (We put trust in them again). My fiancé had to call again to ask if the suit was tailored because he wasn't hearing from anyone at Halberstadt's. When my fiancé went to try on the suit after tailoring, the vest still wasn't there! He expressed some frustration but couldn't put into words how upset he was at this whole process. In addition to all the mess ups and delays, they sent him home with his suit in a plastic cover, just a couple inches longer than the jacket length. We're now under 40 days away from our wedding and waiting for the vest to complete the suit. Poor service, no empathy, or pride in their work to do what is necessary to resolve the problem. Many failed promises after being given multiple chances to make it right. We know this is just one out of many reviews, but even if it was a fluke, we hope that communicating our experience helps give others pause/caution when working with...
Read moreAVOID AVOID AVOID. My friend is getting married shortly and going through Halberstadts. Of 10+ guys getting suits, only 2 have not had issues with things fitting correctly. I live 4+ hours away so got measured close to home and called in my measurements. I received my suit and nothing was actually tailored to my measurements, including pants being literally 12 inches too long, with no attempt to be the right length.
I called in and asked for some help in getting things fixed since there was clearly no attempt, and was straight up told that if you send in measurements, they do not even try to get things close "in case the measurements are wrong". Ummmm..... why am I even sending in measurements in the first place then? So I had to pay to get measured, paid full price for a suit that isn't correctly tailored and was never told it wouldn't be tailored, aaaaaand now get to try and find someone to tailor in time for wedding.
WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING AND FINDING SOMEWHERE ELSE.
EDIT AFTER REPLY FROM HALBERSTADTS: The bride and groom were 1000% NOT told about this “strict store policy” that measurements sent in from other places were not used. They are extremely upset with how this situation has been handled by Halberstadts and the groom (who has been one of my best friends for 15+ years) has told me that even though he is getting his suit for free due to the number of gentlemen getting suits here, that he would rather have gone somewhere else and paid for his suit than have to deal with this situation. Again, find...
Read moreI recently had an unsatisfactory experience at Halberstadt's at Jordan Creek Point, particularly with their wedding suit package offerings. Initially, I visited the store multiple times to gather information and was informed by two different employees that a package including a suit, shirt, and tie would cost $199 per person, and that placing an order two months in advance would suffice. However, upon my visit to place the order, I encountered a different employee who presented unexpected conditions: a minimum order of four suits was required to qualify for the mentioned pricing, and the cost would increase by $100 per person if this criterion was not met. Additionally, contrary to previous advice, I was told that two months was not enough lead time, and we needed to order immediately.
When I raised the issue that these conditions were never disclosed to us and were not visible on their website, the response was dismissive, suggesting that it was 'clearly written' online—a claim that did not hold up upon inspection. This inconsistency in communication and the pressure to make a hasty decision left me feeling rushed and misled. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Halberstadt's at Jordan Creek Point for their lack of transparency and poor...
