Columbia Shopping Center — Local services in West Hempfield Township

All of the stores in this little strip and the one across from it on 18th street are very well kept, staff is friendly, and you have almost all your routine shopping needs met with a hardware store, grocery store, pharmacy, and family dollar's got some discount store type items which do include some seasonal clothing, decorations, and more department store type items than weis. There's a liquor store, chinese, pizza or McDonald's for your quick meals, and speed way seems only a few hundred yards away for gas and convenience store items, use their card for deep discounts on cigarettes and there's a bder distributor, consignment shop, and in addition to auto zone i believe, there's another car parts dealer by the beer shop. They're not included in the actual plaza, but they're so. Close I felt compelled to add them to my review. I stop at this strip of stores fairly often. I use Ace hardware the most & have always been well served at this location. Bought paint and weed spray this time. The other stores include Advance auto parts that I frequently buy small car parts like wiper blades or new lights for our cars. A pizza shop that we get a pizza at from time to time (there are several closer options for me), a gym, and a Weis market (I rarely use this older Weis store, since I'm closer to a much newer one) make up the main strip. There is a McDonald's on it's own lot close to the stores, & an adjacent strip that has a bank, Wine and Spirits store and Dollar Store as well as a Chinese place.
