Mountville Swimming Pool — Local services in West Hempfield Township

Alright, this is a decent pool, I had a fun time. However, I would not give 3 stars if I did not have some complaints. First, they raised the prices of the adult fee to $14 per person. My fiancé and I only brought $28 because we didn't know the price was raised to get in. The lady at the front kindly explained that the snack bar had a computer system so they could take card for snacks. Perfect, or so we thought. After about 30 or so minutes of swimming, we decided to get some food at the aforementioned snack bar. We get up there and they have this $10 MINUMUM for card purchases. $5 I can understand because the prices of the food are decent, ($2.75 for a slice of pizza, $2.00 for a hotdog, etc) but a whole $10 for card just seemed ridiculous. So, I was standing in line trying to calculate what we could buy that would add up to $10 and most of what we wanted was not even prepared yet. Keep in mind, the pool was opened for about an hour maybe an hour and a half at this point. So, they had time to prepare but just didn't. What a wonderful staff!!!!!! We went to the Mountville pool for the first time today and of course within the first hour or so my daughter hurts her shoulder and the life guards and the office staff were so quick to provide medical attention and called the ambulance! I had 4 kids with me and the ambulance wouldn’t take all of us so one of the life guards drove the rest of the kids in my car to the Emergency Room and waited with them until we were done. Honestly when I walked in I thought oh just another community pool but their attention, love and support made me realize that this isn’t just a typical community pool, these people actually care for their visitors. On the website it said $10 for adults and $8 a child when I got there they said they changed it to $15 adult and $10 a child and they didn't accept credit card only cash and checks none of that was on the website The water was dirty they charged me for two adults and one child when it was one adult and two Childs we had to get out of the water twice because of broken glass in the pool took them the first time like half an hour to check and then the second time they said it was going to take from an hour and a half to two by the time they were done it would be closing time so they decided to close the pool we lost out to more hours being at the pool my first time there and my experience at the pool was very very...
