Shops at Prospect — Local services in West Hempfield Township

This shopping center is redundant except for the convenient location for local Columbia borough residents. The giant grocery store they put in to replace the old Musser’s market does not have the ’freshest’ produce and many times they are grossly more limited in stock than other grocery stores in Lancaster county. Also, the U-Haul that replaced the local Kmart store seems impracticable for the area and does nothing to add to the value of the already marginally profitable area. I don’t work in the political sector but I believe it would have been more valuable to allow some kind of clothing store or something like that to bring revenue to the area. Nice place to do your shopping. I like that Kmart and Musser's are both there. You can do a lot of different shopping all at one place. Its near 2 different gas stations if you need to fuel up. There are also some places to eat right at the shopping center. And on nice days if you want to wash your car you don't have to go very far for that either. There is a carwash right next to the shopping center. Its handicap accessible and so are all the stores. Happy...
